It was another beautiful day and Zero was starting to get impatient waiting on Miyuki.

She was supposed to be here to train and yet again she is late making Zero wait for her.

He was about to walk to the girls dorm just so he could drag her out of her bed. She wanted his help and she is making him wait? She was already making him pissed.

Miyuki rushed out of bed, getting herself cleaned up and dressed. She didn't mean to make him wait.. her alarm didn't go off.

She quickly walked from the dorms, meeting him at their regular place. She saw the look on young man's face, making her smile sheepishly.

"Hey.. sorry for taking so long. My alarm was being stupid and didn't go off." Miyuki told him, as she pulled up her sleeves. "Anyway, I'm ready to train."

She already had plenty of experience, but Zero knows the ins and outs of this place and learning from him also will definitely help her.

He turned to see her coming.

"Almost an hour late. I should have just went home." He said even if he wouldn't have actually went back to his dorm, he didn't want her to know the he would have waited .

"Come on please tell me you did not forget your weapon?" He asked as she finally came to a stop in front of her.

"Zero, I already apologized, okay? I'm here now, so let's get to the training." She said, going to stand in front of him, looking into his eyes.

Miyuki is never afraid to stand up to Zero when she needs to. She knows how he can get and understands, but she's not always late.

"Hon, this isn't my first rodeo. I never leave the house without my weapons." She points to her holsters, which held her guns and then pointed behind her, which held a sheathed sword.

Their eyes meet for a brief moment. "Your right, but you can still get someone hurt with you being late. " He always gave her a hard time but it was to make sure she could do it on her own. There will be times he will not be there and she will need to be able to handle herself.

"Come on we don't have time." He said as he grabbed her arm pulling at her to follow him.

She couldn't help but smile, understanding where he's coming from. "I know.. and I'll do better with not being late anymore, you have my word." She knows that there will be times she'll be on her own, but it wouldn't be the first time.

Training with her parents as a child, she could hold her own pretty well. But, knowing the ropes around here, she's been getting Zero's help.

"Alri- whoa!" She exclaimed, when he grabbed her. She looked up at him, following right behind. She smiled adorlingly at him, just happy to be with him.

“Kagome! You’re gonna be late for school, if you don’t hurry!” Diana called, as she packed up her cousin’s bag. Diana had the day off from school, since she’s ahead in her classes. She saw Kagome rush back in, grabbing her bookbag. “Thanks Di! Wish me luck.” She said, before Diana gave her a hug. “You’ll be fine~ Now go on!” She smiled, watching the girl go off to school. She sighed, before going downstairs to play with Buyo and eat breakfast.

Sesshomaru decided to sit in a tree, letting his bunch take a little break.. you know, for their sake. “My Lord!” He looked down, hearing the little girl, Rin call out to him. “I’m going to look for some food for Jaken and I!” He nodded, her smiling as she began to walk off. “Jaken, go with her.” He ordered the little imp, him whining at the dog demon. “But my lord! She can handle herself.” Without a second thought, he threw a rock at his servant. “Okay, I’m going..” He rubbed his head, walking off to follow the little girl.

Carson watched as Kagome. She is a drop out, a choice she regrets. She looked down at the ground for a while, then she went into the house, she saw Diana, She gave her a small smile “Hello Diana, how’s it going?.” She asked, tilting her head to the side. “Don’t you have school?.” She questions, She sighed a little. She started to wash everyone’s dishes, “Looks like a good Breakfast was made.” She said smiling happily.

Inuyasha was sitting outside the old lady Kaede’s place, his eyes closed as he sat there quietly, the others are inside the house, chatting with Kaede. He as always being distant and never really sitting inside much, only when Kagome was around. He could hear them, he listened to their conversation, He heard Shippo make the comment of how they had no idea when Kagome was coming back. “She said that she will be back 3 or 4 days, she said something missing her home, and her family.” He said sounding very annoyed.

Diana smiled at Carson, before taking Buyo into her arms. “Hey~ It’s going pretty well.” She said, sitting up on the counter, letting the cat lay in her lap. She shook her head at the girl’s question. “I’m ahead in my studies so I got a couple days off from school.” She said, watching Carson wash the dishes. “Yeah, the breakfast was amazing, as usual. Did you get to eat?” She asked, running her fingers through Buyo’s fur.

Sesshomaru looked up at the sky, kind of lost in his own thoughts, while waiting for Rin and Jaken to come back. Sometimes, he thinks of what he would do after his travels were over, but he would never speak of it to anyone. He never wants to come off sappy, since being the way he is. His eyes were torn away from the sky, when Au-Un made a noise, signaling that the creature heard something within the forest around them. He just assumed that it was a small animal, since he didn’t since a threat around them.

Carson shook her head, “No I haven’t really had the chance to eat.” She said looking at her, she giggled a little, Buyo is cute and can be funny somethings, She finished up doing the dishes, she dried her hands, then she came over to them, sitting on the counter with them, she petted him from time to time, “ahead in your studies wow look at you girl.” She said happily, she sat there for a moment “I need to go finish up my sweeping outside.” She said with a small nod. She smiled at Diana, and gave Buyo one last pet, before heading for the door. “See you.” She said giving Diana a friendly wave.

Inuyasha continued to sit outside the house, suddenly a familiar scent caught his attention, he wondered how long his brother has been around, he gave a low growl, before rushing off towards the well, he looked around the area, He sniffed the air once more “I know your around, brother.” He said as he growled once more, this was new, Sesshomaru never hung around here, “Why are you here?.” He questions his brother. He glance over to the well, wondering if Kagome was coming back yet. Maybe he should go to her era for her like he always did whenever she took a long time.

“Well, if you’re hungry let me know. I’ll make you some food.” Diana offered, letting Buyo go when he jumped down off her lap. She laughed, kind of shy when people seem impressed with her smarts. “Thanks~ See you later! And don’t work yourself too hard, okay?” She said, waving back to Carson before walking back upstairs. She decided to raid Kagome’s room, laying in her bed. She’s gotten use to hanging out in her cousin’s room, since the girl didn’t mind.

Sesshomaru knew he sensed something.. or someone familiar. His half-breed brother, Inuyasha. He could hear the questions aimed at him, but decided against answering. He didn’t have to answer to anyone, especially not his younger brother. He continued to wait for Rin and Jaken, wondering what was taking the two so long, but he wasn’t going to rush them, if the girl was going to look for food.

Carson was cleaning all around outside, She wasn’t mean girl, more like a shy girl who doesn’t know how to keep a conversation going for to long. She went into the room that the well was in, she started to clean the stairs all the platform around it. After some time she was done, she leaned against the well, letting out a small sigh. Buyo came out of NO WHERE, scaring Carson, she fell backwards into the well, it all happened so fast shock took over her before she could scream, but somehow, she landed on her feet like a cat, she looked around, then up. “Hello.” She called out, listening for sound, no one was around, Kagome is at school, and Diana is in the house, She hit the side of the well.

Inuyasha glared at his brother, before he went back to the village, there was probably something the old woman would like him to do, He quietly rushed back to the village, without looking back, he wondered why his brother was around here, he never came around here, not without a fight, He deep down cared for his brother, but he wasn’t going to show it, if the feeling wasn’t returned of course, he let out a little sigh. He sat back down next to the door of her place, they all were still chatting, by the sounds of it, none of them even noticed he left.

Diana laid in Kagome’s bed, sighing as she stared up at the ceiling. She decided to look around the room, just to be nosy. She stood up, walking over to her desk, taking a little jar into her hands. There were little shards in it. She smiled at how brightly they shined when the sunlight hit them. “These are pretty..” She mumbled, sitting in the chair, keeping the tiny jar in her hands as she analyzed the jewels within it.

Sesshomaru looked down, when he saw Rin and Jaken coming back, with food and firewood. “My Lord! Look at what I found.” Rin showed the dog demon the haul of food and berries the little girl found, nodding at her. Back at the hut with Inuyasha and the rest of the group, Shippo went up to him, poking him. “You should go get Kagome.” He said to the half-demon. The little fox of course missed the girl, so he’s most of the time asking Inuyasha to bring her back.

Inuyasha is doing his best to ignore Shippo, but that wasn’t easy, he glared at Shippo, “Cut it out, she will be back.” He said closing his eyes for a moment, he listened to all around him for a long time, his brother’s scent is still in the air. He tapped his finger on his arm as he sat there slightly annoyed. He wanted to go after her himself, but he can’t go every time she takes to long, He knew Kagome is very good at coming back when its time for her to.

Carson sighed a little, she looked around for a way to climb up the well, she walked over to the well and started to climb it very slow and carefully. She let out a breath as she climbed, she looked up at the opening of the well, strange that it seems more lighter inside then she remembers. As soon as she got to the top, She gasped a little at the sight all around the well, this wasn’t where she was when she fell into the well. She raised an eyebrow as she looked around, she was still half in the well. “Where is this?.” She whispers as she is in complete shock.

Diana walked downstairs, keeping the jar in her hands. She walked outside, looking for Carson. “Carson!” She called out, then looked to the tree of ages. She walked up to it, placing her hand on it, smiling softly. She remembers the time she met Kagome a while back.. it was right in front of this tree. She then noticed the jewel shards beginning to shine even more, as she stood by the tree.

Sesshomaru could sense someone else.. this time it wasn’t his little brother. This scent was completely different. He didn’t move from his place in the tree, but he was curious.. just a little bit. It was a female human.. but not from anywhere around here. She doesn’t smell like the other humans from the nearby village. With Inuyasha, Miroku decided to put in his own opinion. “Maybe Shippo is right, you should go get her.”

Carson climbed fully out of the well, she looked around as she stood there, She wasn’t at Kagome’s shrine anymore. She squealed a little, where the heck is she? She decided to go explore the woods, she slowly went into the woods, deep down in the pit of her gut is telling her to NOT go.

She looked back at the well, she could stay, but she figured that the well doesn’t get much visitors so staying around wasn’t probably good idea “but going into a woods you don’t know is good idea?.” She asked herself out loud.

Inuyasha glared at everyone, as he stormed off, he did however catch someone’s(Carson) scent, he rushed to the well, the well has the new woman’s scent all over it, and around the well too.

He looked around, he could follow the smell, but he needed to go get Kagome like he normally does, he scratched the back of his head as he stared at the freshly made footsteps in the grass leading into the woods, he groaned as he was annoyed a bit someone new going into a woods filled with dangerous and unpredictable demons “stupid.” He whispers

He decided to go find the girl in the woods, the group can just wait.

Diana looked around, then tilted her head seeing the doors to the shrine were open. She walked over to it, walking through the door. “Carson?” She called out quietly, looking around the shrine. She sighed, moving to sit on the rim of the well. She then looked to the jar in her hand, the jewels now shining brighter than they were when she was standing near the tree. “Why does she have these anyway?” She asked quietly to herself. ********************************** Sesshomaru decided to seek out the young woman, easily being able to find her. He then saw his younger brother going toward the same woman he’s going to find. He hopped down from the trees, stopping Inuyasha in his tracks. “You’re wasting your time, turn back and go back to your own.” He said, not even staying to hear what Inuyasha had to say, as he continued to go after her. As he kept running, Rin and Jaken weren’t too far behind him, them keeping their eyes peeled as well.

Inuyasha glared at this brother, as he left, following the strange girl, he wondered why his brother cares about this girl, he hated humans, calls them insects, he got ready to leave, letting his brother’s business be his own, but the thought of that girl being in trouble didn’t sit with him.

Sesshomaru isn’t one for taking it easy on someone, this girl doesn’t stand a chance, He decided to follow his brother, at a distance.

Carson continued to explore the woods, looking around as she did, not letting a single detail of the woods be new to her, she enjoyed the quietness, she was worried about her friend, Diana.

She looked up at the sky for a moment, it was beautiful, she looked around, “Where is this anyway.” She said as she let out a sigh.

Diana watched as the jewel shards shined in the jar in her hands, before deciding to look around the shrine. She noticed that there were foot prints on the ground. She knelt down, analyzing them. “Hmm.. I know Kagome doesn’t come in here barefoot.” She spoke quietly.

Sesshomaru knew he was being followed by his younger brother, so he had Au-Un pick up Rin and Jaken. ‘If he wants to poke his nose where it shouldn’t be.. then so be it.’ He thought to himself, as he used his poison whip to cut down the trees behind him to block Inuyasha. He could already make it to the girl before his brother could, so he’s not worried about it. When he could see the girl, he also a demon coming for her and he immediately acted.

He cut the monster down without much effort and he watched as the dead body fell before him. He looked back to the girl, before he saw Au-Un coming. “Lord Sesshomaru! Up here!” He heard Rin call out to him and without a second thought, he turned to the young woman and picked her up. He motioned Au-Un to keep moving, now getting to another place where his brother wouldn’t find them.

Carson looked at the male that grabbed her, she gasped a little at the sight around them, She wondered where this male was taking her and why, “What are you doing?.” She asked, in a quiet tone, she inhaled for a moment, holding it then slowly letting it out. “Okay, please land and put me down.” She said looking at him.

Inuyasha went to Kagome’s era, he needed to bring Kagome back to his world so they can travel together and find more jewel shards, He made it to her room, looking around, he didn’t see her, he sniffed around, this wasn’t her scent. He left her room.

looking around the yard, finally he caught Kagome’s scent, he followed it, the scent lead him to the school, that she comes back sometimes to do, he stared at the school for a little while, “This place again.” he said before walking towards the building.

Diana went back inside, being greeted by Buyo and she patted his head, before heading back upstairs. She went into Kagome’s room, since ya know, she’s always hanging around with her in there any way. She laid in her cousin’s bed, just shutting her eyes. It kind of slipped her mind that the jewels were still in her hand. ~*~ Sesshomaru could definitely tell that she wasn’t from around her.. and usually he doesn’t care for humans, at all. But, ever since her ran into Rin, she’s been his only exception. “Somewhere safer.” Was all he said to her, as he analyzed the area around them, making sure nothing was coming. When he stopped, Au-Un landed and Rin came up to him and the human woman. “Miss, are you lost?” She asked her.

Inuyasha decided to go back to Kagome’s place, to wait, maybe go back, his white small ears rested against his head, it sure enough won’t be the same without her, and finding the jewels will be a lot harder without her as well. Then, he thought of the girl that his brother was after.

He shook his head, no way that girl is probably dead by now, he is certain of it. He gulped a little “Besides my stupid brother, probably wont let her out if his sight.” He said out loud, as he threw his arms up into the air.

He finally made it the steps that lead up to where Kagome’s place is, he sat at the bottom of the steps for a little while, trying to think of a plan, which was more Kagome’s thing or Miroku’s thing.

He scratched his head for a moment, as he got a good whiff of a new but also familiar scent(Diana), So he decided to follow it.

Carson looked around when the two headed beast landed, she pushed Sesshomaru away, instantly falling to her knees from the shock of the flying, She panted a little, She glanced up at the little girl who asked her if she was lost. All she could was shrug.

She slowly got up from the ground, looking around, taking everything in, she bit the bottom of her lip for a little while as she was thinking, biting it a little hard, causing her bleed.

“W-Who are all you people?.” She asked looking back at the tall and handsome guy(Sesshomaru), She crossed her arms over her chest, giving him a cold stare, the type he normally gives Inuyasha, whenever they are around each other, “I refuse to go anywhere else with you till you explain, sir.” She said with a quick hard nod.

Diana turned in her sleep, keeping hold of the jewels in her hand. She was actually dreaming of the feudal era.. because the jewels are taking an affect on her. She was seeing many things, at first it started out with trees and grass, assumingly, she was in a forest. While she was dreaming, Buyo came in the room and jumped on the bed, laying next to the dreaming girl.

Sesshomaru scoffed a little, before he looked a little bewildered toward her attitude. For a human.. she was pretty tough. “Oh, this is Lord Sesshomaru and I’m Rin.. what’s your name miss?” The little girl asked her, with a bright smile. Before long, Jaken caught up and tripped over his own feet.

“Master Jaken, you caught up.” Rin said, turning to the imp. “Well, you shouldn’t have left me behind!” He yelled, before the girl giggled. “I’m sorry.”

Carson looked around as the little girl speaks; Carson gave her a small smile on her face, “hello Rin.” she managed to get out, she was about to say something else; but rin started to speak with a small imp that suddenly appeared.

She glanced around, all over even the trees, where was that beautiful man(sessho), this could be her chance to escape.

She slowly raised to her feet, trying not to make a sound or anything.

Inuyasha was in Kagome’s world, coming out of the well as if it was no big deal, after he dusted himself off, he went to look for the jewel shards, he went to Kagome’s room, only to find another girl(Diana) there

He glared at the stranger, he stepped forward, seeing the jewel shards in this woman’s hand, he quietly growled she didn’t know the dangers she is in holding them so close to herself, how was he going to get them out of her hand.

He shook this woman, “wake up, lady, those shards belong to me.” He told the girl as he growled
