My birthday reflected my past year, filled with trips, laughter, Boba, a wonderful fiance, friendship, and death. Its been a rough time, but a good time, and though the day started with crying over makeup and the passing of one of my family's ducks, it ended in laughter, cake, and tacos, so I call it a win! Thank you all who wished me a happy birthday!

big announcement!

I have worked for 3 and a half years 3 hours away from home for this, worked my whole life for this, and for what? My goal to work with animals, to help them and people know what they are understand they are living creatures and to learn more myself. Now, here we are...

Dont got the degree yet but was at As and Bs so even if I did fail the finals I probably wont fail the classes, meaning it should happen, I should get my major and minors... so technically im there, hehehe, keep yall updated!

My dog

my max, he was amazing. Is still is in my mind. My first dog, I always wanted a dog. I begged and got a bird who I loved but then I got a dog and boy was I in love. He was exactly what I had thought of and even more so he was a best friend. He was with my when people I trusted and cared about left or hated me, he was with me when friends and family died. Even when I left for school, work, of college he was never angry when I left, only happy to see me again.

So imagine how he looked when he couldn't walk. He is 10 years and 4 months old. He was chunky, silly, tried to run when he had arthritis and was on CBDs for a lump on his chest. He had a huge life of running away from us to chewing all we owned to even going on car rides with me. He lived a full life it is hard to come home to a house with no dog in it. Everyone is more hostile and I only have my boyfriend for comfort, no dog to great me at the door anymore. I miss you Maximus Decimus Meridius Vanderpool, and even though I held you and you fell asleep with a snore and passed, I won't forget about the amazing life bone cancer took from you.

I will miss you and I wanted to share your story because it has greatly impacted mine. I wouldn't have drawn more or made more friends if he wasnt here. I would have given up on everything a long time ago when others gave up on me but he stayed with me through surgeries and even at nights. He could sense it i swear when I was sad. Ill miss you my darling dog, I hope you can meet all the amazing animals I tried to help rehabilitate and that you can finally run again. Your body couldn't get up in your last moments, but I hope this new one will last you many more years than the old one.
