BACKGROUND
Jung Jaesung - now 25, middle child of three.Ā
Raised by a single mom who is a cosmetologist.
Jae struggled growing up;Ā didnāt really know who he wanted to be or how tf he was supposed to figure that out. Ended up falling in with some bad kids and downward spiraled from there, which resulted in his dropping out of school and joining a gang from about age 15-20.
He was mainly a thief during that time but heās roughed a lot of people up when it was called for and sometimes when it wasnāt. He's not a skilled fighter whatsoever; heās a brawler. He will use anything in his reach as a weapon and itās a chaotic mess but also fascinating to observe. Donāt worry though, heās done with that phase, probably. c:
When he was 20, too much was being asked of him by the gang (things he was not willing to do, like murder, rape, maim, etc.) and he tried to back out but that didnāt go well, of course. He got a pretty bad beating as punishment but he ran anyway and tried to hide at home (bad, bad idea, definitely not cut out for the life), which led to his older brother (a police officer) being killed.
He straightened himself up after that. Finished school and honestly had not ever considered going into the beauty industry until he was spending time with his mother while she struggled to work. He went from assisting her so she could get through the day to taking over for her and eventually enrolling, graduating and earning his license.
Heās been living and breathing fashion since choosing this career path and has been working his ass off to build a clientele and a relevant online presence via Instagram and other social media networks.
Has been at Junoās for a little over a year now and honestly, itās too classy a place for him but luckily he can chalk up his harsh appearance to being āartisticā and once people give him a shot, they are usually pleasantly surprised by his skill, insight, and precision.
PERSONALITY
Heās a workaholic. A charmer, slightly manipulative, makes puns which he immediately regrets and is sorry about, seriously. Heās so sorry. Heās a lover but he makes himself suffer. Has commitment issues mainly because he feels he doesnāt deserve to be happy.
Heās got a resting bitch face thatās intimidating to some. Heās also not great at controlling his expression, which leads to him having to talk his way around what his face is doing.
Jae really, deeply, sincerely hates himself for what happened to his brother and expects his mom and sister to hate him too. And pretty much everyone else he meets as well.
Overprotective big brother type, especially to his precious baby sister Seongmi!
