➵ Hoshi

Soonyoung wasn't all that sure about Naeun when she first joined. A girl suddenly joining when they're so close to debut? That seemed like a recipe for disaster. But still curiosity got the better of him, and he went snooping around the internet for her skating programs.

He's a stubborn guy, he didn't want to admit he was impressed. He just resorted to watching her dance out of the corner of his eye during practice.

But then the younger members finally convinced Naeun to show them her triple axel, which ice skaters apparently can do off the ice, and Soonyoung couldn't mask how impressed he really was anymore.

Naeun never teased him for it. She just smiled when he hesitantly made his way to her to ask her about some contemporary moves they could add to the choreography. Ever since then, they've been inseparable dance partners: Hoshi trusts Nabi's judgement more than almost anyone else's.

➵ Jun

Naeun has a soft spot for Jun. She's a strong defender that people should pay him more attention. Naeun thinks the world deserves to see the version of Jun she knows: the caring and funny guy who can be more thoughtful than anyone is expecting.

If he speaks, no matter how quietly, she's giving him 100% of her attention. Naeun goes out of her way to make sure Jun never feels out of place in the middle of the chaos that is SEVENTEEN.

Jun's unique perspective is one of Naeun's favourite things. He was the one who first pushed her to think beyond boundaries set by others. She's grateful to him for showing her how sometimes all that you need is a change of point of view.

Jun tends to lean into Naeun whenever he feels a little drained from the loudness of the rest of the members. She never pushes him— in fact, she usually joins him in just taking a break.

➵ The8

Minghao and Naeun are the two members who understand and value the discipline required to dedicate your life to a craft the most. They know what it takes, and they never take it for granted.

There's a quiet understanding between the two of them, they always make sure to give honest opinions about the other's work. Naeun's appreciates Minghao's criticism, letting it drive her motivation to do better. And Minghao appreciates her honesty and help with how he can improve. They never forget to congratulate each other's hard work, though. Praise is just as important for them.

Naeun is the one he goes to if he needs a review for any kind of project. Minghao is often the person who gives her the final stamp of approval on stuff she wants to share with carats, like dance covers or Instagram posts.

➵ Dino

The second youngest of her babies reserves a special place in Naeun's heart. He's always been a fairly independent person, but Naeun always tries to baby him. "Chan-ah, did you eat?", "Chan-ah, do you need help?, "Channie, here, try this!"... it's never-ending.

And whenever Chan does need his Naeun-noona's help, she's ready to drop everything and go to him. Even if that means leaving the others in the dust.

Does Dino exploit Nabi's inability to say no to him? Yes, absolutely, but hear him out! He has 12 useless hyungs, 1 useless noona, and another useless same-age friend. He has to take advantage of the one person who doesn't constantly bully him.

Naeun just wishes he'd allow himself to be babied a little more. She always worries Chan carries too much on his shoulders.

➵Woozi

They're probably the members who fought the most pre-debut. Naeun could recognise a self-destructive perfectionist a mile away, because she'd been one too for most of her life. She wasn't about to let Jihoon go down the same path.

Trying to get Jihoon to take a break was a fight no one was willing to pick until Naeun came along. It frustrated the boy beyond belief, but now he couldn't be more grateful for her patience with him back then.

She would bring him food but never say anything about it. She'd stay until he left too, no matter how much he complained. Even when his frustrated biting remarks got to her, she always tried to keep her temper.

Jihoon is thankful to have Naeun as a friend. Since their trainee days, she's never stopped looking out for him, and it didn't take long for him to start doing the same, even if it's with something simple, like water, a reminder to eat, or an extra jacket.

➵Jeonghan

The rest of the members always joke that Naeun's sweet nature goes flying out the window the second she's paired up with Jeonghan. You think she would never have the heart to prank the others? Think again. It's over for everyone as soon as these two make eye contact. They’re partners in crime for real.

The two of them are like one and the same, sharing a love for mischief, but also always making sure to take care of everyone else around them. They’re natural protectors.

Jeonghan always keeps an eye on Naeun, having noticed she sometimes forgets she needs to take care of herself too. It’s not unusual for you to hear a “Nana-yaaaaa” whenever the older boy is asking her to eat, sit or just chat with him, quietly telling her she needs to take a break too. She always gives in to him. For Naeun, her Jeonghan-oppa became a safe place as quickly as she could blink.

➵Joshua

The "normal" duo in SEVENTEEN... yeah... right. They're as normal as penguins in the Sahara.

They're both known for their calm and sweet demeanour, but they are capable of being completely insane, and they know it. Joshua and Naeun act almost like they're competing over who can do the most out of pocket thing sometimes.

The rest of the members fear putting them together for anything, because they really love enabling each other. Joshua is thinking of doing a nonsensical skit? Naeun is right there to applaud him. And if she even looks like she has a funny idea, he's already invested.

Joshua is also the person Naeun goes to if she wants to vent, especially during stressful times. His calm reassurance always reminds her she doesn't need to solve everything at once, that she can take it slower.

➵DK

Naeun is Seokmin’s #1 supporter and she will fight you on that. If he tells a joke and you don't laugh, you'll have a glaring Naeun to deal with. She denies having a favourite child, but everyone knows it's DK.

His optimism was the first thing she noticed about him, and it quickly became her favourite out of his traits. God help the person who even dares to dim it. Naeun really admires his positive attitude and endless energy, and she has made it her goal to be more like him.

Seokmin has absolutely noticed the proud smiles and loud laughter his noona reserves just for him, and he definitely rubs it in everyone else's faces. But the adoration is not at all one-sided. Seokmin will often go out of his way to make Naeun smile, whether it's through a joke, comforting words or a hug.

He always notices when she's down, and with how much Naeun adores her favourite kid, it never takes long for him to cheer her up.

➵Summer

They're each other's ride or die. They might be incredibly different, but they fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. If the members ever gang up on one of them, you can bet the other will be squaring up and defending her.

The cameras have caught them gossiping far too often, and carats are constantly begging to be let in on their inside jokes.

Naeun is Yeoreum's damage control. Don't be fooled, though: the older girl is probably enjoying the chaos too. Summer is just a lot louder about it.

Yeoreum is Naeun's hype woman. She can always get Naeun to have fun. Naeun probably lets go the most when she's with Summer.

➵Seungkwan

Seungkwan is Naeun's biggest fan. As soon as she first stepped into that cursed green room, his eyes were shining like stars "That's Park Naeun! The Olympic medalist!" You'd think he was the one who'd won Olympic gold.

At first, Naeun wasn't sure how to feel about the energetic boy who kept asking her a thousand questions, but it wasn't long before she warmed up to him. There isn't one single universe where she's even close to disliking Seungkwan.

She secretly loves how much he brags about his "Naeun-noona". Naeun always compliments and praises him back, but that only makes the bragging worse.

Naeun makes sure to be the first to tell Seungkwan he's doing a good job, and she's also always the first to notice if he's down or tired. You'll often find Seungkwan just resting besides his noona, sometimes asleep against her shoulder.

➵S.Coups

These two are THE parents™️, there's no debate. They've been raising the kids together for years.

At first, Seungcheol didn't even notice Naeun's help. He was so focused, already growing used to being tough on the members, making sure to protect them in the best way he could.

And then suddenly he noticed the way Naeun seemed to linger back when everyone left, noticed how she would pass him his water bottle without him asking, noticed how she took care of the members silently. It was impossible to ignore she was offering to help him carry his load.

It didn't take long for her to become his biggest support system. Seungcheol may be the leader who has to walk in front of 15 other members, but knowing Naeun is right behind him is one of the main drivers of his strength.

Carats love it: the visible mutual understanding between them, the clinginess Seungcheol has with Naeun, the way they seem like the real parents of the group.

Once, a scene of them sitting outside came out: there's faint screaming behind them, but they look unbothered. "We should go stop them." "Yeah." Neither made a move to get up. That night, #tiredparentsNacheol trended on Twitter.

They’re probably the biggest ship in SEVENTEEN and with reason.

➵Wonwoo

Wonwoo is Naeun's comfort person. He was actually the first one she approached out of the members. For the new girl who was still adjusting to the idea of a group like SEVENTEEN, Wonwoo's quiet demeanor seemed like the safest bet to start with.

The first time she sat next to him during practice break, it was just awkward silence between them while Wonwoo stared at Naeun with question marks floating above his head. But soon enough, silent support became their thing.

Between shared snacks and quiet conversations, their pre-debut days helped shape a long-lasting friendship. Even now, years later, they go to each other whenever they feel the need for a calm presence in the middle of all the chaos.

➵Mingyu

Hometown buddies, initially bonded over having grown up in Anyang.

At first, Naeun thought Mingyu was a pretty independent guy. He's one of the most capable members, after all.

That was until the first pouty “Noonaaaaa” left his mouth. Ever since then, it's been a cycle of Naeun solving Mingyu's problems. Broken things? Naeun is there to glue it back together. Misplaced items? Mingyu's already giving her his best puppy eyes and asking for help.

But even despite his clumsy nature, Naeun knows she can rely on him. He's the first one she'll call for help when she's the one in charge of dinner. And when there were too many things to carry? All she had to do was look in his direction and she had a 6'2 puppy at her service.

➵Vernon

Vernon is one of the few people capable of actually surprising Naeun. His unpredictable comments and unique perspective catch her off guard and make her laugh more often than not.

She loves watching his facial expressions, finding it more than amusing how someone so frequently nonchalant can say so much with only his face. Vernon noticed her watching early on, and now it's kind of a habit for him to turn towards Naeun to show his second hand embarrassment over the other member's antics. His noona finds it hilarious every time.

Naeun disapproves of his leftovers eating habit, though. She makes it her personal mission to feed him proper food. The rest of the members tease her for being like a mother bird, but Vernon isn't complaining.

➵Rina

A mother and her baby. Rina’s like one of those kids who is excitedly telling a story that makes very little sense and Naeun is like the mother who is listening with a soft smile on her face.

But when Rina is in the mood for chaos? God help Naeun. The amount of heart attacks the older girl has suffered because of Rina is unmeasurable. Some are on purpose, some aren't: while Rina loves pranking her members, she also loves 'adventures'. Naeun's soul left her body that one time Rina decided to go on the most insane looking ride at the amusement park.

But there are soft moments between the two as well. Rina always goes to Naeun for advice. When Rina thought about making the song she was working on a song for a possible girls subunit, she shyly asked her Naeun-unnie to come listen to it first. Naeun loved it, but she loved the adorably nervous look on Rina's face even more.
