Succumbing to my mind

Loneliness is a wild feeling, it may be the most dreadful feeling of all. You sit in silence all day but your head is not filled with silence. It’s filled with anxiety, depression, sadness and maybe a tad of sexual frustration just to top it off. Loneliness is a cocktail of the most fucked up emotions blended together and then viola! Here’s to the next month of isolation. I seek human connection beyond a screen, I want to know what it’s like to be in love again. It’s been a couple years since I’ve been an official grown up now. I can’t find one good friend or one person to whisper secrets to and trust them with every nerve in my body. Instead I find the moochers, the money owers, the flakers, the never ending people that like to disappear. I come home every day to an empty apartment filled with my lackluster energy. When did it get so hard to make friends, when did it get so hard to have a little fun?
