hot take but if you think marriage/monogamy is boring or stifling then you have a very shallow understanding of the complexity, beauty, and diversity of every single human soul. if your partner seems boring after a certain about of time, there is a high chance that they
1) Don’t feel secure enough to be honest
2) Don’t feel free enough to change/grow, or at least free enough to include you in the process
or 3) Are not actively being explored by you
If you find other people boring (in romantic or non-romantic relationships), there is a high likelihood that you only care about them as sources of entertainment rather than as people with inherent worth and complexity deserving of exploration.
Speak life over people. Remind them of who they are. Pray over them. Empower them. Give them grace when they need it. Be a voice God uses in their life. In a world where the enemy is constantly speaking lies, choose to speak life over them.

imagine waking up in a cozy cabin in the mountains. you can see snow falling softly and sticking to all of the trees out the window, and the person you love is making you coffee in the kitchen.
