Warm Saturday morning sunshine and some reflection. Happy New Year!
Gathering to watch the sunset on the cliffs of Ocean Cove, Jenner, CA
Happy Friday! Happy Weekend! Happy Holidays!
One of the many Hydrangea bushes in the gardens at 'Cyndi's Spanish Villa'
Alternate photo title; “Mud pie toppings.” I remember being about five-years-old, playing on the front porch and making mud pies. I decorated them with Hydrangea petals from the bushes in our yard. I thought they were beautiful. I found out that mud does not taste like chocolate no matter how pretty you make it look.

🚨 The FCC plans to kill net neutrality on December 14 🚨
It’s real simple: ISP lobbyists are pushing the FCC to kill net neutrality so phone and cable companies can block apps, slow down websites, and charge fees to control what you see and do online.
Our only chance is congressional pressure and legislative action. But we need grassroots support. Tell your representatives that you support “Title 2” rules and ask for their help protecting a free and open internet.

Hunting for breakfast. Hidden Lakes, Martinez CA
While out for a morning walk to watch the sunrise, we came upon this guy. He was walking away from us and didn’t know we were there. He turned, took one look at us and then casually trotted off. Off to hunt for his breakfast of snakes, insects, grass, and hopefully lots of rats.

American Bushtit glaring at me.
This fluffy little Bushtit was not impressed with the paparazzi. I wasn’t that close though, and used a long lens, but clearly, he was in no mood to pose for the camera. Or maybe, like me, he suffers from RBF too and was just sitting there enjoying the sunshine that finally broke through after several days of rain.
