Lord Dionysus is the patron of those who live too much, of those who feel too much, too much for this dry, consumistic world without anymore ideals, sentiments, without anymore a sense of HUMANITY itself, you know?? Lord Dionysus of those who prefer the intoxication of the soul to the sleep of habit. Because we MUST rebel against this world that wishes to turn us all into an uniformed thing. He asks us to be alive. So will you be alive, dear devotee?
Hail, Lord Dionysus, lord of sure wonders. Hail, decadent spirit of blossoming souls.
i can’t remember what six year old me was wishing for throwing coins in the fountain and blowing on dandelions but i hope the person i am today was at least one of them

I'm not the biggest fan of beaches, because during the summer they tend to be very full of people. But I really like them when they're almost empty and the water is cold.
I can find beaches like that sometimes. And when i do, I love them.
I will swim or just sit down with a book, feeling the salty breeze hitting my skin and listening to the low whispering of the sea.

Dear diary:
I've been quite absent lately. My finals in university meant less time for myself. I really don't like how stressful and competitive the exam period is. I love learning and the act of studying, but not exams. It's like it goes against my flow and my way of learning.
But they went well, and I'm very thankful for that. Now I have the summer ahead of me. A type of life closer to what I want of my life.
I moved back to the countryside with my grandparents, I missed it, I missed nature so much after a school year in the city.
And I've been meeting my friends and connecting with them these last few days. That's what the pictures mean. How I met my friends and spent present time with them. With my friend H I went to the river, and we talked and ate something. We also took some pictures of each other by the river. With my friend P I went to a café/bakery I really like. It had been a while since I hadn't talked to her and it felt nice. We have been friends since primary school.
I'm very thankful for my friends. They're amazing people and I'm so happy I have them in my life.

Dear diary:
My day today was more stressful and didn't take any pictures, so I decided to share an older picture and tell you about it.
This is a letter I wrote to an old penpal of mine, Max. It's one of my favourite letters I sent. I think it's very very pretty.
I used to penpal. And I had a lot of friends all over the world I wrote letters to. But not anymore. It's a hobby I'd like to have again.
I love letters, writing and receiving them. There's the expectation, the wait, and feeling the connection to someone else through a physical object.
I love letters, feeling someone else's feelings through the words they wrote to me weeks before. It's like looking into the future when you write them, and into the past when you receive them.
I just love letters. Not as remnants of the past long gone, but as a type of connection that can't be achieved in the same way with modern texting. Not to say texting is bad, it has it's good things, like how fast it is. But I do feel, sometimes what we need is to slow down.

Dear diary:
Today I made pizza for lunch.
I basically spent the whole day doing chores around the house. I really enjoy household chores, they're relaxing, and I like listening to podcasts or music while I do them. I also love singing while I do chores.
I like to say my voice is domestic. I love singing, but I never aspired to do it professionally. I like singing in my home while I work on the kitchen or garden. I love singing lullabies to children and dedicate songs to people that matter to me. I like singing in the comfort of my home.
I guess this is kind of a reveal of who I am, although I'm not comfortable sharing my face.
I also continued studying developmental psychology today, my exam is on monday.
It was a nice relaxing day. I love just spending the day at home, quietly.

Being Kind doesn’t mean becoming a complete pushover. You can be kind and have very clear boundaries about what is and isn’t acceptable to you.

Dear diary:
Today I had a pretty relaxing day. Yesterday I went out with a friend, H, (we had dinner and watched a midnight parade) untill pretty late at night, which I almost never do. So today I slept in until midday.
It wasn't a really productive day, but I don't strive for constant productivity. I'd rather feel happy and connected than burn out trying to be productive all the time. And today I didn't feel my best, so I just took a day off studying for my exams.
I finished a puzzle I was working on. My father gave it to me as a gift and I think it's lovely. I want to put it in a picture frame and hang it in my room.
I also started an embroidery project. I'm not good at it yet, but I'm slowly learning needlework. Hopefully I will improve my abilities with practice.
