The new year started with a bang. I had the honor to be part of this very wonderful house concert on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. Mark Ettinger & Tony Saunders had the vision to put this shindig together. And of course it would not have been the same without Kat's amazing hummus & tapinade.

What made this evening very special for me was the fact that there was no division between the musicians and the audience. Truly wonderful. We were all in the same boat. A far cry from the usual experience of playing a club. Getting to mingle with people in such a lovely setting was just great! And of course we have the wonderful and quirky songbook of Lou Reed. We performed some tunes from his solo career as well as from the Velvet Underground.

Looking forward to see what else comes up in 2014.

Crybaby get's it's debut at Spectrum

Towards the end of 2012 i was invited to perform for the Composer's Concordance 'Evolution-The Aftermath' being held at Spectrum in NYC. This is part of a series of short guitar pieces that i've been working on for awhile now. Crybaby is one of the newer pieces.
