Life's a drag From the last performance we did
Performance with House of Gunt for the last Ampersand show <3 My first solo act, it was a ton of fun!!!
@the-pegasus-detective @spizacki -- wanted you guys to see this xD
Pictures from recent drag show. Forgot to take selfies.
I NEED MORE DRAG FRIENDS!!!
We will be your friends if you are nice ;)
How do you make your beards so full yet realistic looking?
So I use my own hair (I cut it myself), then I outline where I want to put the beard with eyeshadow. Then I place the hair in layers with spirit gum and keep layering it on until I'm happy with it. Hope this helps!
I identify as nonbinary, do you think it would be ok if I could be a drag king and drag queen?
Of course. In my opinion it doesn't matter what gender you are, drag is a form of expression. It's an art, it's a performance. It's not your identity, it's putting on a character. So I'd say go for it, find your voice and roll with it :) I hope this helps.
My drag family <3 we cute, we cute

me and dick gayson at our last performace, it was 90′s space boyband themed. I think we came across the right amount of douche. and yes…. i have a problem keeping my eyes open in photos. :D
Because it’s been a very long time since it did a comparison. Please excuse my very tired, after-show, out of drag with remnants of my makeup still there selfie.
My look from last night. I did Jailhouse Rock by Elvis. Pretty fun!
Recent beard test! Really happy with how this came out! :D only did half my face because of how long it took. But the good news is I figured out a good technique for this so it should go faster next time. Also want to make it a fuller beard.
Dude I like this. What did you use?
Thanks man! So I used my own hair from the last time I trimmed it and I seperated it into sections to layer on. I used eyeshadow to mark where I wanted it to go and then from there I used spirit gum to stick it down. Then I trimmed it as I went along. In this I just did two layers so I think next time I might add another.

MET SPIKEY VAN DIKEY HDBDHDBDUDH I had a moment, it was beautiful and amazing. I was just... They have inspired me so much in drag and it was just too cool to meet the man himself.
Drag King Tips
This Drag King has the best tips when it comes to creating fake facial hair. I’ve always sighed as I browse terrible, obviously fake mustaches/beards online and while makeup can do the job, it requires a lot of effort and still doesn’t look too real. Now I just need to buy a decent wig and binder online (if anybody wants to be my Fairy Drag-Mother and buy me a binder and/or wig, it would make my little genderqueer heart burst). I’ve tried binding with ace bandages and, yes, I know it can be potentially dangerous. I’m also just terrible at it, to boot. Her own personal style doesn’t really do it for me, but 1. it’s her look, she can do whatever the hell she wants and 2. she knows her shit so well that I just don’t care. If you’re interested in Drag King tips beyond creating the perfect fake facial hair, then I recommend you still watch this because she goes into detail when it comes to creating realistic looking brows and proper contouring.
A bonus: Me in drag. Burt Cockburn.
Yes, I know I make a hot dude.
I used this video among others to learn contouring. However, I do my beard differently. I actually use real hair saved from my haircuts. I like the 3 dimensional effect. Plus, it still looks realistic close up which is good for close encounters during performances.
