it's been a while, Roz! i've been getting into 3D printing lately and, of course, had to pay homage to the best bot. my favorite form of hers is when she's overgrown with her wood leg -- it was a ton of fun trying to nail that worn look!

woohoo, the trailer for The Bad Guys 2 is out!! the original film is one of my favorites from DreamWorks and it's been such a blast getting to plan their next big heist. i don't have quite as much time to paint these days, but i had to whip up a quick something of Ms. Diane! give the first movie a watch if you haven't already, and please look forward to The Bad Guys 2 when it releases on August 1, 2025.

today's hour painting. in times such as this, i always find it comforting to remember the power of art, creativity, and community; these are some of the most beautiful, most human traits that can never be taken away. making even the most unremarkable observations on the world and putting that to a canvas already grounds you more than any close-minded, hateful bigot.

the wild robot is the best movie i have ever seen in my entire life and i am not joking. i have never seen or felt a movie more beautiful, fluid, or emotionally impactful. i highly recommend it, this movie has restored my faith in the animation industry and has given me hope for the future. 1000000000000/10

it's Dreamworks' 30th anniversary!! not to get too personal, but i'm incredibly honored that i get to be part of such a storied and artistic studio. i haven't found the time to mention it since The Wild Robot has kind of been my life lately, but i'm delighted to continue my journey with the studio on The Bad Guys 2! the first Bad Guys stands as one of my favorite comfort movies and this one looks fun as heck too! despite the challenges animation faces these days, i'm grateful to help tell such beautiful stories 🌙💖
