remember when you were a kid and a cloud would pass in front of the sun darkening the room briefly and then the sunlight would be piercing the dust on the windows again and you were astonished that the weather could change so quickly because you hadn’t put together yet the object permanence of clouds as objects which could actually block the sun and you thought of the weather more as an abstract idea that changed over the course of days and months, not minutes, and so when the room would get dark at high noon and then fill up with gold light all over again it was the first time you saw such celestial parts of the world changing at speeds you never dreamed possible, you were discovering for the first time the precarity of the moment, that it was possible to lose everything and find everything again forever, not only possible but even the light itself could waved, and your heart was sore in places you hand felt before. and then you learned about how the world works and it wasn’t as special the next time it happened. um does anyone know how to forget world mechanics. i need to forget the mechanics of the world i need to not understand things
