There are actual humans on here who believe Elon Musk is the only person who can save them from climate change and what you need to understand is Elon Musk does not care about you. He doesn’t care about climate change either bc his wealth will prevent it from affecting him. Elon Musk is not designing electric cars or rocket ships he’s paying people to design toys for himself. He’s a grown man who behaves like a child and actually has the wealth to say “I want a rocket ship and a submarine and an electric car” and then exploits people into producing it for him. That’s it. He would sell you and your family for one flamethrower. He would watch your home sink into the ocean while he happily has his submarine delivered there to loot any valuables from it.

it’s also worth noting that the idea of elon musk as some kind of savior figure is something he himself went to great pains to generate- this is part of what makes his crashing and burning such an amazing spectacle. he wanted so badly for us to accept him as a messiah, but instead everyone except the most chronically gullible sees him as the slimy little parasite he is, and that tears him up inside.
