Exposure practice
Welcome to a new post!
Today’s topic is exposure, our first picture, above the text, has the following values of a shutter speed of 1/200, ISO 1600, F10. This picture, although seeming dark, is just the first picture we took as a group in a way to practice white balance. White balancing here wasn’t that complex, but it had its certain difficulties, as everything does nowadays, but we got the hang of it.
With our given values, our image looked dark and unfocused, which had also given it a shallow depth of field. Within our first adjustment (not pictured here), an exposure of 4.5, our image looked brighter, and also had a deep depth of field. Our second adjustment had changed the shutter speed to 1/25 and our exposure was increased to 9.0, which had our photo look a but lighter than our forst adjustment.
Our third adjustment (pictured above, lightest picture) had changed our ISO to 400 and shutter speed to 1/4 in shutter speed, which allowed the image to look somewhat similar to the picture taken without any adjustments. This image looked about right to our original picture, thus why I see it as the best photo taken in this exercise.
