Rowan glanced up from her position and shook her head, an amused smile finding itself on her lips. The wolf snorted and threw him a playful glare, “Okay, smart-ass. I do have a bag, I own several of them, but I didn’t think I’d be carrying this MANY things and you know I was rushing, to get to my lecture on time so I didn’t have time to stop and get one.” She explained, huffing slightly when she stood up, watching him take the books from her grasp. “Some LIGHT reading.” She responded sarcastically, reaching out a hand to take some of the books back.“Thesis. I know I’ve got a long time before I actually have to hand it in, but I thought I would get a head start. Most of what these old dudes say is kind of hard to search for on the internet, so I thought hitting the library and actually reading it would help me grasp their ideas better.”
“Yeah, well; who’s fault is that?” Diego quipped in reply. “If you had left earlier than -- Oh shit, I’m turning into my MOTHER. Somebody save me,” he chuckled. “Light reading? Bullshit, Hermione Granger. There’s NOTHING about this that’s light. Hell, you’ll be like John Cena by the end of the day if you continue carrying them.” The male witch considered his options for a moment or two. He could either give the books back to Rowan and allow her to waste an entire day (because that’s what studying equates to in his mind) pouring over books, or she could do quite the opposite and have fun. And since this was Diego considering the options, he firmly chose the latter choice. “Why start something today when you can start it never the next day, hm? Follow me!” Without waiting for her to respond or for her to step within grabbing distance of her books, Diego began to walk away, a hum vibrating through his throat as he did.
