die Lieferanten

Die Lieferanten is an open working group between Simon Oberhofer, Alexander Krischner and Matthias Jäger. The common denominator of the group is an architectural view of the space and the people who use it. Everyone tries to get involved with his personal resources in a constructive dialogue, which forms the basis of each project. Not only the actual implementation, but already the analysis play a major role. As a frequent visitor of the market this project is also personal concern and we are excited about the opportunity to deliver to this exciting place.

Lichtfeld is a subtle spatial intervention that generates a bright and uniform illumination. It consists of a white, translucent cover sheet, which is used on vegetable farms every day. We took this material out of its rural context and stretched, with the help of thin ropes, a five by seven meters large solar array above the market stall of Markus Kollmann.

like a giant white canvas laid out in the field, this agricultural fleece protects the tiny little cions from the nightly cold.
