          “shut up!! shut up, shut up, shut up…” the blonde moved her hands over her ears, voices of her dead friends and family ringing, talking to her. it couldn’t be REAL, she had to be going crazy, the only explanation. “do you hear them??” her hand shot out to grab onto the nearest person. “RILEY, JAKE, MY DAD!! do you hear them??”

“hey! woah.” ben went to touch her but decided against it, shaking his head. “no, i- what are you talking about? what’s wrong?” he questioned, “is there anyway i can help?”

"woah.” ben examined the dog he had come across, bending down in front of it looking for a tag but it didn’t appear to have a collar. “hey buddy, are you lost? do you have a home?” he questioned, as if the dog could speak to him. of course he knew that it couldn’t.

      Her problem was that she always think too much about everything and right now her main worry was her friends and the school and everything, she wasn’t there and she didn’t understand why. And that’s when she accidently bumped into someone. I’m– Jean shook her head. She was going to say actually something in a telepathic way because she was used to that but instead, she stopped herself and spoke. Her books were about to fall but she avoided that with her gift, placing her books again on her arms, without them falling into the ground, she thought for a moment that like back home, everyone knows about mutants here ❝I’m sorry, didn’t see you there❞

Ben had stood up to help the girl the moment he saw her books begin to fall but to his amazement they flew back into her hands. “Woah...” He paused, staring for a moment thinking of who to handle the situation. She hadn’t hurt anyone, but it was still a strange sight to see. At least, he assumed it was for those who weren’t used to things like that. “You sure you should be doing that stuff in public?”

Enzo was missing, Damon was missing…she couldn’t find anyone & on top of that her powers hadn’t come back to her yet. “Yes?” She asked the person in front of her, taking a deep breath, as she clenched her jaw.

“Uh,” Ben cleared his throat, offering her an awkward smile. “I just asked if you were alright, you look distressed.”

his first reaction is to flinch away from the person that approaches him but there’s something about the genuine concern in the boy’s voice that has him slowly dragging his good eye up to look at the other. “are you real?” noah brings up the hand that isn’t clutching his face so that he can touch the other and there’s another whimper as he realizes what was happening. “i died.” he was human again, he was supposed to be done with the pain of his death, he was supposed to be done reliving it. “oh my god.”

“of course, i’m real.” he allows the boy to reach out to him, as he carefully listened to what he had to say. the words weren’t entirely surprising to him, not that he knew anything about the male in front of him. just, the dying and coming back to life aspect. “i’m sorry, i’m sure this is all.....overwhelming...”

noah can’t help as another hoarse whimper is torn from his lips. he’s hunched over in a dark hallway, hand pressed to the large wound on his face as more sobs rack his body. “please stop, what did i do wrong?” the pale blonde pulls his knees closer to his chest as if he can protect himself from the memory that feels all too real right now. “you were supposed to be my friend.” it hurts to get the words out, his throat sore from begging. blood drips from between the fingers of the hand that’s held to his face and he lets out another pained whimper.

ben quietly approaching the hunched over figure, not sure what he could do necessarily but he couldn’t just do nothing....right? “hey...” he reached to touch him, but soon decided against it and just knelt down in front of him. “hey. is everything alright? .....what am i talking about? obviously it’s not...” he ran a hand through his hair. “what happened?”

persephone groaned as she rolled from her side onto her back, placing her hand on her neck were she felt a stinging pain. she looked at her hand to see blood which only made her groan more, “by the gods, that is not good.” she felt tired as the hand that was on her neck dropped next to her head.

“WOAH, hey..” ben rushed over to the woman on the ground, kneeling down beside her looking over the wound on her neck. “what happened?”
