who do you ship in teen wolf?

in, west philadelphia born and raised killin’ monsters is how we spent most of our days – apparently, at least. as a group we find ourselves in beacon hills which means that for some of our lovelies they’re back in home sweet home. some of them even died here and now are finding themselves controlled with an attractive past. but can romance still be in the air despite the fairly grim-dark atmosphere ?? uhm, y’know, maybe. hopefully no one gets too seriously depressed in the interim.

there’s the old standby that i’m fairly sure we’ve all talked about at this point. amara and derek hale – they’ve got definite chemistry i can’t deny that but it does seem like things are a little less intense than they were a week or so ago. maybe being back in beacon hills has been something of a dampener on the mood ?? i don’t blame derek in the slightest though, this has turned into a hale family reunion for the better or worse, though i can’t say i have ships for all of them yet. paige krasikeva was someone i initially expected to win back derek’s heart in one broad sweeping gesture but i’ve not seen any real flames between of them. first love is rarely meant to last though. in terms of friendships i really think that she and danny could end up being close friends if their conversations continue down the same road. they can bond over how well their relationships will werewolves have gone !!

danny however seems to be throwing most of his eggs into the “luca hill” basket. the boy is trouble if you ask me, maybe well-intentioned but i’m not sure if he should be the sinnamon roll to danny’s cinnamon roll if you get me. maybe if luca had been a smidge less aggro with the ‘kiss everyone’ i’d be a little bit more into it but i don’t think anyone can argue that he’s definitely a more stable choice for danny than hugo weasley who it seems like he’s had some chemistry with in the past. hugo, darling, child, maybe you spend some time on yourself and then worry about a relationship.

i’m pretty sure that i’m supposed to ship erica reyes and isaac lahey but the whole thing kind of has shade of isaac and alison argent. not sure if that’s a ship that’s happening – i don’t think so, particularly because alison and scott mccall currently have the good fortune of both being alive, mazel tov !! i’d like to see how erica deals with her regrets and some of her guilt (she’s mentioned some in regards to what happened with her and boyd) in the days to come before i actually commit to saying who and what i ship her with. she has options, a fair few of them too. from how it looks she’s got chemistry with most of the people she talks with. from the looks of it malia tate and stiles stilinski are seeming like more and more of a thing as days go on. i’d argue they’re probably the closest to making their affections less transitory by giving it one of those dangerous names – ‘couple.’

when it comes to cora hale, sorry to disappoint here but there’s nothing i romantically ship happening here yet. i like seeing the dynamic she and derek have but that’s certainly not going to get romantic i’d hope. maybe she can go into the running for robb stark’s heart – i think that looking like his ex-wife might be a good way to start making moves on him. laura hale and marie-jeanne argent both seem like interesting characters but while i’ve seen them have chemistry in their conversations nothing has exactly struck me as romantic. maybe the three of them can go party with lydia martin? she seems like she’s rocking the single thing. now that jackson’s back in town i have to wonder if she’ll return to her old ways and find love in beefy’s arms.

What do you think of Luca Hill and his kiss everyone approach? What do you think will last?

personally, i think it’s bordering on creepy. or maybe it’s crossed the line into that. who wants some guy you don’t know just smashing faces with ya? exactly — nobody wants that. hello; stranger danger! come on, now. i don’t think any of his kiss fest shenanigans will last. kissing before you know someone’s name does not a relationship make. HOWEVER, i do dig whatever it is he has going with danny mahealani. so maybe he’ll surprise me yet.

who is the more and least badass out of all the tvd characters?

people seem to think that kai parker is the baddest badass to ever bad. but he eats pork rinds and i’m pretty sure he killed his sister. that’s more asshole and less badass. so, he’s my nom for least badass. sorry, kai! my nom for most badass is a surprisingly unsurprising caroline forbes! she carried babies that weren’t hers for nine months and she’s being forced to take care of them. she dealt with an unfair situation with class and i don’t think she’s turned her humanity off to deal with it. she could kick kai’s ass easily --- a compliment AND a request.

how many messages do you guys have?

we’re hovering at right around the fifteen mark at the moment. we all have weekend plans though that i know of, plus the event starting so we’ve not gotten to any since yesterday. we had more, but with the new admins coming in i cleared out some of our more out dated questions. if you asked something and you haven’t had it answered in maybe a week feel free to send it in again.

personally i plan to do more either tomorrow or monday.

edit -- it feels prudent to note that occasionally we get closer to thirty, so this is actually fairly reasonable !! often though we finish one question and two more get submitted.

Madge Undersea and Lock are getting close don't you think?

y’know, i’ll give that to you. but i’m pretty sure that madge is with reed richards still so if they want to make magic happen something would have to change on that front! lock, who recently got told to go jump in a lake by haley dunphy, is rather unhindered though considering that they’re well past happening from the looks of it. you know what couple hasn’t happened but i think might? lock and tris prior, you have to admit they’d be cute on each other’s arm.

So mickey milkovich and ian gallagher could very well get back together, add hugo weasley sleeping with mickey while having a past thing with ian, jerome valeska and mickey hooked up, and ian hates jerome because of what he did to debbie gallagher... hot damn, I'm so here for this clusterfuck.

mickey milkovich has nearly a full page of mentions, it’s definitely a talked about subject here on the gossip blog and i’m positive i’ve used the term ‘clusterfuck’ multiple time, so we’re in agreement. my biggest comment about this situation is that it seems like mickey and hugo might actually be making inroads ?? or at least they’ve had some sweet moments over the last couple of days which is a turn from the continuous aggression. ian and mickey are cute and mickey is definitely all hung up on that, so even if they don’t end up back together it’d be awesome to see them get some sort of closure so that they can move on as people. ian hating someone his ex hooked up with is only really an issue if mickey ever chooses to tell him that they hooked up. 

they’re dramatic though. mama like.

Ships for the Until Dawn folks currently?

      i think most of us can agree that hannah and anyone besides mike is a good ship. that poor girl needs to get over him and start living for herself. hannah and happiness had to be my top ship for her, but i can definitely see that her and valentine are getting closer and closer by the looks of it. who knows, we might end up seeing something blossom there. beth seems to be getting along with kai oddly enough. can’t say i recommend anything happening with that one for obvious reasons, but he seems to have a weird fascination with the dopplegangers. mike and jessica definitely seem to be a thing. good on them, but i am curious to see how long it’ll last before some kind of drama unfolds between them. we can definitely for sure say we’re watching these two closely to see how everything unfolds. can’t say we’ve seen much of sam recently. disappointing because she’s another one of ths crew that i think deserves a happy ending with someone that’ll treat her right. maybe she’ll be around again soon and see if there’s some chemistry there with anyone. she did seem close with patroclus there but we all know he’s a taken man. as for chris, i can definitely say that he and ashley are being pretty adorable right now. looks like they’re going to be catching a movie together and we can’t wait to see what comes next. as for josh washington, i think that boy needs to find himself first before he even thinks of embarking on a relationship. i guess we’ll see what comes of all of this. i, for one, will be here watching and waiting.

opinion on the teen wolf gang?

because i’m a sucker for redheads, lets start with lydia martin! now, while i haven’t seen much of her, what i have seen is nice. given what she went through in eichen house, it’s nice to see her not TOTALLY letting that get to her. i mean, internal demons exist and all that, but i do adore her smile. i still think she needs time to herself, even if it didn’t get as bad as it COULD have. so, if you were hoping for a shippy ship answer, no go!

danny mahealani is a new addition ‘round these parts, but he’s been so refreshing. sure, he got a hook up on like, his first day — but more power to him! if it keeps him around AND keeps him being his naturally goofy self, i’m so here for him to get lots of lays. just be safe, danny! (and might i add — DAMN, DANIEL!)

stiles stilinski hasn’t been around too much — or i haven’t seen him around. but that’s me trying not too look at him because, wow, he’s pretty. now that THAT’S out of the way, i gotta say i like how chillax he’s been. aside from when his pretty pack is threatened. he’s still a shit head (thank you to whatever deity he believes in!!!), but he’s been relatively good. no random hook-ups, no self-defense murders — again. we’ll see how he goes. boy could go void, for all we know.

 malia tate has been around for a little while and while i haven’t seen her interact much with her pack, she’s been a total sweetheart. given the hell she’s no doubt gone through, again, it’s nice to see. i do hope that she’s not on some secret verge of a breakdown — that’d be not so nice. she seems like she’s making friends; or at least acquaintances outside of her beacon hills bunch, and i hope that continues! all these kids need more friends. too much hell, not enough friends. 

scott mccall is another one i haven’t seen much of, but again, so my fault. i think he’s had it up to his ears with all the doppelganger hijinx. how many of his friends faces can he see before he just sorta… resigns and hides? exactly. too many. in any case, he’s handled it well enough. like a true alpha would (probably). he’s another character that i just wanna see totally happy and away from the chaos of his actual world. still, i hope kira yukimura shows up; he needs her with all of the doppel-ganigans. 

allison argent and erica reyes both seem to be dealing with being alive again quite well! i wouldn’t have expected it; death is one hell of an experience. seeing as you….. die. but hey, they’re coping! still, i would like to see them take time with friends and readjusting before they get too into anything intense. gotta let your mind catch up to your body, right? i’m right. i’m rooting for those two to forge a friendship, despite the fact that pre-death, they weren’t the tightest girlios. fingers crossed! you know how much i love a good female supporting female relationship!

and lastly, paige krasikeva, derek hale, and marie jeanne valet! i admit, i haven’t seen paige around much. whether or not that’s her hiding, avoiding derek, or just being illusive, i can’t really blame her. derek is kind of responsible for her dying, right? i wouldn’t wanna see him either. girl seems like she’s adjusting to stonefield, in any case. hopefully, i see her making some pals soon!

derek, on the other hand, i’ve seen a lot of. he’s still a pretty sour wolf, but i would be too. who wants to be magically teleported to a new place? nobody. although he has been getting close to amara, the original petrova doppelganger. now, i know that’s like, a supes popular pairing, but i honestly just want to give them space to figure themselves out. do they like each other, or do they just not like being alone? more importantly, does she just remind him of the innocence of his ex? and what the fuck will happen if braeden shows up? 

space, darlings. 

FINALLY, marie is too new for me to have a proper opinion. i wish that weren’t the case, but she needs time to settle in, make pals, and spread her beautiful wings. although i already love her, because, hello! accents. sigh, i love accents. —- right, happiness. please give her that! and lots of friends; given that she killed her brother, i think she needs that.

thoughts on the steve roger's love triangle?

equal parts hilarious and tragic. i’m an absolute asshole though so take that for what you will. it’s pretty clear to all of us that peggy carter will always be steve rogers’ “best girl” so it’s interesting that it’s a man who threatens to steal his heart away. trust me i have the queerest little heart but how depressing will it be for peggy if she just gets her ‘could’a been’ back and she’s made a has been already ?? we’ll always love you peggy, no matter what you’ll be the best agent peggy carter you can be, i’m sure of that. 

what we can’t do would be fault bucky for would be trying to grab steve if that’s what makes him happy. hell, if that would help him heal and make him happier we’d encourage him to at least tell the man how he feels. life is short and then you die -- or life is short and then you’re frozen in ice like the god damn avatar slash you’re made into a villain by ne’er-do-wells but, uhm, you have to seize oppertunities when they present themselves.

well we just had damon salvatore show up in town and i’m pretty sure the first thing he did was ask where the booze is and that’s always a promising sign when it comes to these things. jessica jones is up to mention as a serial drunk although i don’t know if it translates into much besides her being intoxicated. she’s been fairly low drama so far but maybe she could go drinking with jessica from until dawn ?? i certainly feel like she drinks her fair share and hey baby, we all have demons but you have to give these three so far props for drinking most of them away. in the happy, flirty meaning that the term lush can take i’d definitely throw haley dunphy and dabbie gallagher in the mix !! i totally haven’t forgotten that they were nearly a ship. i don’t think i ship it anymore, buuuut. maybe enough alcohol can make lock forget how totally hung up on her ex haley is. no shade, no shade.

we should all get drunk more. it’s a social lubricant for a reason and i would love to see what happens if we get all of stonefield a little tipy. those under 18 need not apply.

What do you think Kara Zor-El and Peter Quill?

kara zor-el is an ABSOLUTE sweetheart. she seems concerned about everyone she comes across, has a positive attitude, and she’s a superhero. honestly, what’s not to like about her? momma told me to pick your friends based on the energy you want to present and if you wanna present blind optimism? she’s your girl. that’s totally a compliment, beeteedubs.

peter quill, on the other hand. he’s a little shit. not saying that’s a necessarily bad thing, but it is what it is. adding to that, i don’t think he’s a bad person. full of it and himself, a total dick, but he’s fun. and honestly, these people need fun. so really, kara and peter balance each other out — and now i think i have a new ship. if you guys aren’t friends, could you… maybe fix that? thanks a ton!

what fandoms are the new admins familiar with? Just because it seemed like the ones prior only knew of a few which made the answers of how hey felt about some characters pretty vague.

we’re familiar with a fair few fandoms over all of us and we can talk about what we don’t know to fill in gaps. but as a general rule we can’t watch the dash all of the time, and all of the material that characters come from. also there’s the rule of if you have a character in a fandom you probably shouldn’t be the one writing the reply to a ‘who do you ship in that fandom’ so it’s kind of a catch 20. you either get the gossip blog being a hundred and ten percent knowledgeable or inclusive or fair.

personally i think we’ve done an alright job with balancing the three and this is a volunteer effort. we’re trying to do the best we can. i’m sorry if i’m reading this as a bit more harshly than it was intended but when ther are ten or twenty characters in something and we’re trying to give a full review of those ten people, their five ship partners outside of the fandom -- yeah, we probably don’t know everyone.

do you believe that robb stark has options? or will him and jeyne westerling always be a thing?

have you seen that boy ?? he definitely has options. the problem is getting him to realize that. we’ve already seen that all that glitters isn’t exactly gold with annie and finnick odair. i don’t think they’re broken up but we do know that a ‘pause’ is in the cards for them, y’dig ?? maybe robb and mary stuart aren’t the best option for a long term relationship but she could definitely be a good connection to make him realize that rushing into a relationship isn’t always a good thing.

who i’m supposed to ship him with, i have no ideas. if he wants to get on the bucky barnes train they could make cute man babies. sometimes i forget people are straight, though.
