Manly Zine fair is tomorrow! Saturday 26th July and Manly Library from 10am - 2pm. @keepalookoutfor @beachescouncil I am so excited to be back for my second year. Come visit my stall for Zines (largely focused on my experiences as a late diagnosed autistic adult) Art prints (original pieces and fan art) and adorable hand crocheted poptart fidget toys. #manlyzinefair2025 #zines #northernbeaches #autism #autisticartist #adultswithautism
A zine on Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria aimed at both autistic adults who have RSD, and people who wish to understand it better.
WIPs on some new zines for next months zine fair at Manly Library! Subject to many reworkings between now and the big day. āReasons to do nothingā was a result of todayās rabbit hole.
Working on my next lot of zines ready for the Manly Zine Fair next month!
I managed to get a solo, sunrise, trip to Freshwater Beach before the switch was flicked and Covid19 took such luxuries away from us. Not even a week after I took this photo, the beach was closed. When it opened again, it was only for exercise and only then if you kept constantly moving (one out, one in rule). I long to be back here. Sitting on the beach, taking lungfuls of the stunning ocean air. Itās my place. Even with the sand! But I only really learned this just before it was taken away from me. Once the world starts returning to normal, I will claim this beach as my second home. And I will never, ever, take such things for granted again
Repost of my own memory from 2020, and we all know what happened in that year. In this post, I claimed Freshwater Beach as my second home. Little did I know that in two years time it would be our ACTUAL home.
Cockatiels give all the love.
Untangling the Mind Melt is about my unmasking journey as an adult with autism. This zine is my blood sweat and tears. I hope to be able to expand upon it.
The most spoilt cockatiel youāll ever meet, our little screm-bot WeeGee. This was so fun to make, and a little break from my heavier zines that were created for the same fair.
Dearest Little Me - this zine is a special one. Essentially a love letter to my younger self. Growing up was pretty lonely and confusing for a girl born in the 80ās with undiagnosed autism. Writing this was an incredibly cathartic exercise.
āMy Adult Autism Pinterest Boardā zine flip through. A collection of Pinterest photos that resonate deeply with me. This was a firm favourite at last weekends zine fair
Tomorrow is the big day!
sorry for how I acted when there were multiple noises happening at the same time
Only a week to go! Iām so excited but nervous at the same time as a zine neophyte. Haha.
Folks, meet my zine making assistant, WeeGee.
Had some fighting words with my printer today. I was raging while naming my file āpiece of shit.pdfā and sending to print for the thousandth time, and then it actually worked. Hahaha.
Less than a month until my first zine fair!
