Sorry for being a bit dead!

Before I started sketching the rewords for Humans I had started two projects to test out Adobe After Effects. I wanted to get them done before digitally working on Humans so I'm happy to say the second one is done!

Just in time for the new year!

So the next one is my character! I debated just using the base hero but I do have fun drawing my character. I haven't changed her no matter how many times I play!

I don't like the poses on the bottom. Before I am comfortable doing anything else I think I need to practice more dynamic poses

I added some more doodles to the bottom of the Corvus sheet because I wanted more expressions and background characters for when uh

stuff

happens

Using the sticky notes are so great because now I can hide all of my mistakes :'D

On another note! This isn't DQ9 video related but I am offering a chance for some free art!

I am back! I got busy with work but I have been using my break to doodle more in a sketchbook. It's not much but I wanted to start with getting the three celestials' outfits figured out:

Let me tell you I did not do Corvus any justice. His outfit is also a bit different piece-wise from the other two so I figured I would need to play around more with it.

Turns out I love drawing his hair. The think with doing this on paper is that I can't fix mistakes as easily but it helps to know where I am struggling. More of the page is filled out but it's doodles related to other parts of the video I wanted to practice on.

I was on vacation just before art fight ended and delayed posting the last 4 revenges I did for @giygas-bandicoot , @digidead , @mintedlemons , @galahadiant

Now that Art Fight is over I wanted to sketch out some things related to my OG "Humans" pmv. I didn't expect to get so much attention even now and it makes me want to redo it since it was never finished.

Though before making promises to myself I figured I should fix what I thought needed to be fixed!

First off- the clothes. The clothes are complicated. I did a base doodle off of a reference of Aquila but later I would like to try and understand the uniforms of the three characters featured piece by piece.

Aquila I knew would be the hardest for me to draw. I mostly draw cute girls so men that look like men

are hard

But dang it he's worth it. I redid the faces from my old video. They look better but I do think I can still improve them (at least it's an improvement yippee).

There was barely a background in it but during the scene where the hero sees the light from below I didn't even do it right.

There was no railing by the tree. She would not have had a chance to walk somewhere else to a railing. Where did the railing come from? The world may never know...
