Welcome all! This is the blog where I'm gonna post all my mutants from now on, as always feel free to send in requests and ideas for new digimon mutants.
All the mutants I make are created using what I call the "Shatter Virus", a dangerous virus that upon infecting the victim, said victim is forced back into (or if it's in training Digivolve into) it's rookie form. As it begins to mutate, it will not only begin to deform but it's body will attempt and fail repeatedly to Digivolve and De-Digivolve into different stages while its mutating, resulting in the mutant taking on features from *all* it's stages. Over all it's incredibly painful for the victim, but they very rarely keep their conscious mind to remember the pain.
I feel like I'm going to have a lot of fun with this blog.
BOOM! New mutant, this time an Impmon! Or rather, twin Impmons who were infected as Digitama- surprisingly, the Shatter Virus didn't kill them. They are part of the few mutants who still keep their conscious minds! The two of them fight a lot, but such is life when you're constantly attached to your sibling- literally.
I've been thinking about his a human might be affected by my lovely little "shatter virus". We know thanks to 01 that humans essentially become living data when they enter the digital world, just like the Digimon are, so who's to say my horrid little creation wouldn't have any effect on them? So, after a bit of thinking here's what I came up with.
(Warning: It's kinda gorey, so if you don't want to read it don't click more)
First, I think SV would start of working almost like a fever. It'd be hard to eat, mild nausea, constant feeling of being overheated and sweaty, etc. After a few days of these fever like symptoms; the human's body would begin to slowly shut down on itself.
Production of new blood cells would stop, causing the victim to quickly take on a pale and sickly appearance. As their organs shut down one by one, the victim will feel compelled to keep going. They will keep pushing themselves more and more, day after day, even as their insides are slowly turning to rot.
After a few days of this, the victim will start to exhibit behavior similar to that of deer infected by CWD (Chronic Wasting Disease). They become unresponsive, aggressive, and disoriented. They will stumble when they walk, struggle to meet their basic needs, and take on an almost zombie-ish type of appearance as they waste away more and more. The SV is the only thing keeping them alive at this point, as any unaffected human would've died ages ago.
Eventually though, the virus will be unable to keep it's host from falling apart and dying. The whole process takes place over the course of roughly a month, possibly more or less depending on the health and age of the individual human.
When the human dies they will rot and decompose like any other corpse would, and unlike the Digimon infected by this virus they cannot spread it.
Over all, just like with the Digimon, it's an incredibly painful process- but hey! At least the humans get a release at the end of it all. Right ?
Last of the ones I made before I started this blog- Lopmon! Little lad has a bit of everyone mixed into 'em. Of the three, Lopmon's design is probably my least favorite, and I'll probably try my hand and making a different mutant Lopmon at some point.
So. I named this one Sbeve and he's my special little boy and I love him. I absolutely do not love all my children equally, he is one of the chosen few that I favor.
In the lore, he's one of the few mutants who keeps his consciousness.
The first of my mutants I'm reposting to this blog, and the very first Digimon mutant I made, Agumon! Honestly he's my second favorite of the three I made (the other two are gonna be posted after this one) and I still really love how he turned out.
