          Of course, she do fishing back in her world, it wasn’t much but she find it somewhat relaxing and accomplishing when she caught a fish that’s not familiar to her. She nodded, didn’t catch the teasing or anything. What’s his doing? Winking? Is that it? Digimon? Nope, not recorded in her database or anything. 

          “ Never heard of it, you must be rare. “

“Wouldn’t say we’re rare, but we are very uncommon!”

He crossed his arms confidently and thought on her offer.  It would beat whatever Daisuke would come up with...He’d have to go for it.

“If you wouldn’t mind!  Maybe we could share!”  He didn’t quite grasp that she wasn’t human, but that’s a topic for later.

         The android just stare at him–it–whatever that thing is. She had never seen such thing before plus it talks the same language as human does. What is it? An animal shaped android? But why would an android need human food? She doesn’t understand and she’s quite intrigued.

         “ The pond, fishing or some market that sells food.                hunt some animals in the woods if you’d like meat. “ 

“Do I look like a wild animal?  I’m not so sure I could do that!”  Veemon exclaimed.  Jokingly, he huffed, “Also, what’s with the stare, never seen a digimon before?”  He winked, as he knew the answer, he was just teasing at this point.

Some would argue Daisuke wasn’t very intuitive when it came to people.  But Daisuke thought he was good at judging others, his argument of course would be: look at who Ken turned out to be!  But Ken wasn’t here, and Dai had to shake that thought off before he got upset about that.

“I swear you are too plain to not be hiding something!”  

What was THAT supposed to mean?  Daisuke is not the most eloquent...

“Don’t suppose you know where to get some good food?”  The hungry digimon had no qualms about walking up to this mildly intimidating person, who he was under the impression was human.  Seemed like he managed to wander away from his partner though.

Marry practically jumps backwards when someone calls out to her, voice loud and body boisterous. She holds her arms out, as if trying to keep him from getting too close.

As well meaning as Daisuke is, Marry’s just too skittish to react well to his energy.

“U…um…”

She’s falling over her words, as if trying to find the words to explain that, no, she’s fine, please don’t yell–

But, she finds nothing, instead her mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water.

Daisuke stopped a bit hard on his heel, losing his balance for a moment, but nothing a bit of flailing couldn’t fix!

“Of course!  It’s no fun being alone!”  Daisuke pointed out, though, it’s very possible he was just saying this for himself, “Awh, come on, no need to be bashful!”  The boy chuckled and adjusted his goggles.

“...Though...I can’t force you to make a decision.”

“Mm, please watch where you’re going.”

Minato mutters at the younger boy who almost walked into him. He held onto his crutches for support. It was a good thing he didn’t quite knock him down. For one thing, the man supposes he couldn’t blame the kid. He had a dazed look in his eyes as… he was carrying … a stuffed toy? No, rather, it looked more like a real creature but immediately froze.

Eh, he’ll ignore it for now. He was in front of the Fire Fighters Brigade and looked upon the building with some interest. He wondered if… he’s allowed to see what’s inside…?

“Awh, man, I’m sorry.”  He briefly apologized before realizing the man he almost ran into was on crutches.  Now he just looked rude for not paying attention, “I’m just taking in my new surroundings...”

“And almost taking someone out while you were at it.”  Veemon spoke up before getting nudged by his tamer, “What, it’s not like we’re in the real world, this is more like the digital world 1.5!  I think it’s safe for me!”

Daisuke grumbled at his partner, “I’m not sure how many people take kindly to a talking dinosaur, don’t say I didn’t warn you.”  The boy then glanced to Minato, “I hope you don’t mind my partner, Veemon, here...He’s a bit of a talker.”  His statement was followed by a sheepish laugh.

Most people would be disoriented to wake up in a strange hotel room, unfortunately, Daisuke wasn’t most people.  Him and his partner had been exploring their new living arrangements and any adjacent locations.  The only unfortunate thing Daisuke could even think is unfortunate about this situation is that he didn’t know anyone here, or well, as far as he was aware.

Of course, Daisuke is a self-proclaimed problem solver and was by no means shy.  The kid had no issue with just walking up to someone and making small talk.

“Hey, you!”  He hoped that would grab the passerby’s attention, “You look like you’re alone, need someone to walk with?”  At least he means well..
