While I'm still in The Stand mode, I just keep thinking what if you were someone who absolutely fucking hated "Baby, Can You Dig Your Man?" when it was on the radio all the time. Then you survive the superflu, make it to Boulder, and learn that Larry fucking Underwood also survived?? Not only that, but he's on the committee?? This has to be hell.
Then he goes and dies facing Flagg and you're left like God-fucking-dammit, he really was a righteous man after all.

The stand is really about an evil wizard trying to take over the world after a virus just to explode because he's too cringe.
Lloyd Henreid Headcanons
He has a bunch of tattoos, some things with meanings, some not. He regrets quite a few of them, they remind him of things he’d rather not be reminded of.
Lloyd doesn’t know how to dress himself very well, so he just wears outfits that remind him of characters from his favorite movies, or outfits that make Flagg do a double take.
After being stuck in jail he’s constantly convinced that he smells as bad as he did then. He carries around an obnoxiously scented body spray just in case.
He gets anxious constantly, especially around Flagg. One wrong move and everything he worked for is over. Despite this, he still tries to act cool and confident, even when it looks a little bizarre.
Lloyd gets jealous very easily, especially with Flagg. When he gives his attention to someone else a bit more he starts to freak out, worried he will be replaced.
It took him a while to gain back all of the weight he lost in prison, but once he did Flagg made a positive comment on it, so he makes sure to always eat enough for him.
He misses Poke, and is always thinking about what would’ve happened if their places were swapped. Would Flagg have chosen him instead? He doubted that. He wouldn’t have been a very good right-hand man.
Out of all of the main protagonists in The Stand I find Larry to be the most likable. He’s extremely flawed and easily could’ve been pushed to going to New Vegas, but he didn’t. He never gave up his strong morals that may have been pushed deep down at the beginning of the novel, but slowly became more and more outward as it progresses.
