Today i conducted a choir for the first time 😬😬😬 listen.. conducting is its own discipline that takes years to perfect!! I’ve always had respect for conductors but now it’s on another level! Vocal tip- middle notes don’t need as much space as high notes. I think my voice teacher underestimated how tired my voice was after a weekend full of work (singing & teaching) and very little sleep in Miami. I had a lot of ‘extra air’ in the middle voice because my voice just needed a BREAK. Today was a blessing. I was the subject of study in the music appreciation class at University of West Georgia. The students had to observe the differences in my vocal technique between Schuberts ‘Rastlose Liebe’ & @korynhawthorne ‘Won’t He Do It’ .
