Why the fuck did I make this. If you want to follow me, go for it, I guess. I won't stop you, but don't expect much. ISTJ 6w5 so/sx 683 RLOEN mel-chol | Chinese-Canadian | ENG/JPN OK
I don't know why you're viewing my blog, but welcome.
If you don't want to read a literal word wall, I'll offer you a basic summary of who I am. If you want to read more, then go ahead. I won't stop you.
Dima or Dimitri work just fine, pronouns he/him
Chinese; language knowledge = Eng > Jpn > Fra
Not cishet, neither cis nor het, not in the slightest
Neurodivergent + persodivergent. Sometimes will reblog stuff relating to ND + PD
Do not ask for any of my SNS or any information outside of what I give you. I wish to keep my identity a secret.
Do not expect any original posts or original content whatsoever; my content will be mostly reblogs
Will usually reblog anything relating to Ensemble Stars, Fire Emblem (specifically Three Houses), The Last of Us, LIA LIA, ATEEZ, most Kpop-related stuff actually, typology, Chinese culture, and fashion subcultures
I refuse to put my real name out anywhere on the internet, nor do I wish to link any details of who I am or any other social media whatsoever, so if you were hoping to find me elsewhere, good luck with that. The only thing you will find is my Personality Database account of the same name. Don't ask for anything more than that. You'll get nothing.
I don't post any original content whatsoever. I use this only for reblogging, liking posts and viewing things without Tumblr getting on my ass about "needing to make an account" or whatever.
If you need a name to refer to me as, you can call me Dima or Dimitri. I don't care. My pronouns are he/him and I'm greyroace. I'm not cishet. If you can't tell already, I kin Dimitri. Basically, I am him, he is me, we are one. Plain and simple. I haven't used this site since I was literally 13, so I don't know anything about anything anymore.
I'm Chinese but born and living in North America. I have some roots from/relating to Indonesia but I don't feel much connection to the culture so I don't refer to myself as Indonesian since I am primarily Chinese. I speak primarily in English but my Japanese and French are okay. Language proficiency = English > Japanese > French.
I'm not neurotypical. I'm Autistic and have ADHD + Dyscalculia. In terms of mental illness, I have PTSD, PPD (Paranoid Personality Disorder), BPD and OCD, plus some depression and anxiety issues stemming from some shit. I don't reblog much relating to it, but sometimes I might.
I don't respond to messages. I'm bad with messages. I'm bad with talking to people. Please don't expect me to respond to anything. If i do, it will take a very long time for me to read it.
I like typology. My Classic Jungian type is IS(T); Si-Te for the Cognitive Functions squad and ISTJ for the Myers-Briggs crowd. The rest of my typology is as follows; 6w5 so/sx 683, RLOEN and Melancholic-Choleric.
I also really like Ensemble Stars, Fire Emblem (primarily Three Houses), ATEEZ and pretty much anything Kpop related. I'll also often reblog things relating to Chinese culture and various different fashion subcultures. That's about it.
I don't think I'll be very active on here. I'm not sure if I'm forgetting anything major. I don't feel like typing out a long DNI. I'll just block people I don't want to interact with me. Plain and simple.
I'll add more later if I feel like it. Can you edit posts on here? I don't remember. Either way, it's nice to meet you. I look forward to being here, I guess.
➸ “This is a sentence with a dialogue tag at the end,” she said.
➸ “This,” he said, “is a sentence split by a dialogue tag.”
➸ “This is a sentence,” she said. “This is a new sentence. New sentences are capitalized.”
➸ “This is a sentence followed by an action.” He stood. “They are separate sentences because he did not speak by standing.”
➸ She said, “Use a comma to introduce dialogue. The quote is capitalized when the dialogue tag is at the beginning.”
➸ “Use a comma when a dialogue tag follows a quote,” he said.
“Unless there is a question mark?” she asked.
“Or an exclamation point!” he answered. “The dialogue tag still remains uncapitalized because it’s not truly the end of the sentence.”
➸ “Periods and commas should be inside closing quotations.”
➸ “Hey!” she shouted, “Sometimes exclamation points are inside quotations.”
However, if it’s not dialogue exclamation points can also be “outside”!
➸ “Does this apply to question marks too?” he asked.
If it’s not dialogue, can question marks be “outside”? (Yes, they can.)
➸ “This applies to dashes too. Inside quotations dashes typically express—“
“Interruption” — but there are situations dashes may be outside.
➸ “You’ll notice that exclamation marks, question marks, and dashes do not have a comma after them. Ellipses don’t have a comma after them either…” she said.
➸ “My teacher said, ‘Use single quotation marks when quoting within dialogue.’”
➸ “Use paragraph breaks to indicate a new speaker,” he said.
“The readers will know it’s someone else speaking.”
➸ “If it’s the same speaker but different paragraph, keep the closing quotation off.
“This shows it’s the same character continuing to speak.”
my heart is with the people of southeast asia affected by the severe earthquake(s) of the 28th of march, myanmar and thailand especially. the pictures, videos and rising number of people having lost their lives, of people still missing underneath broken down buildings is gut-wrenching. if you have the chance, if you are able to, please consider supporting humanitarian aids. there are plenty out there and I can only suggest you pick which works best with you.
