the thing about being "good with kids" is all it takes is literally just not trying to control and mould them with every interaction. it's just being a normal person and engaging with them through normal interactions like having conversations and playing games. it's just being genuine and friendly and not perceiving them as lumps of wet clay you are there to shape. It’s kind of crazy how I can make an art piece that I’m so proud of and then I’ll look at it maybe two months later and just hate it because I see all the flaws >_<

How long have you been streaming on twitch? Have you ever felt burnout? Do you feel burnt out currently?

I’ve been streaming since March 23rd, 2021, so over five years now.

I would say I only ever really felt burnt out a handful of times because I made sure to always keep my streams planned carefully around my life (twice a week, two hours per stream) and it kind of became my way to both stay social and also have time to actually play the games I want.

The big thing that is keeping me burnt out right now is that my second monitor no longer works so there’s a lot of extra setup I have to do to keep things running smoothly. Between that and practicum for being a teacher has left me with little free time, so I’d honestly say yes that I’m burnt out right now. But that’s not streaming’s fault.

Hopefully streams will be back once I’m home for the summer. I just don’t have the time or money to fix my tech issues and also juggle my schooling right now

working out your brain is a must!!

• hydrate it by drinking lots of water

• eat dark chocolate and blueberries and walnuts and salmon and other foods high in antioxidants!!

• play little brain games on your phone; I like wordconenct! anything that makes you think!

• read books. It’s simple but necessary. Even better - join a book club, or read with a friend, so you can have discussions after. This will improve your reading comprehension.

• do puzzles - it doesnt have to be sudoku, I love playing Beat Saber on the Oculus Rift because it makes my brain have to match colorful patterns to physical movements very quickly!

• learn a new dance - even a tik tok trendy dance. Learning new dance moves are proven to strengthen synapses!!

• go bird watching, or foraging, or anything outdoors that requires you to explore pattern recognition and visual searching

• watch a movie with the intent of analysis - this is best done with a cinephile friend!! talk about tropes and symbolism and character growth

• cross stitch, or sew, or do anything that requires matching nimble hand movements to patterns

• play or learn an instrument!

• develop a consistent sleep schedule (or as close to consistent as you can get!)

• when eating, try to identify the ingredients and flavors you’re perceiving!

I like how this went from me feeling like “hm why is this attacking me 🤨” at first, but feeling grateful seeing an added guide on a genuine expansion on a “ how to” work out the brain. This genuinely helps a bunch. People find solace in doing activities that get them through life by doing said activities of phone/tv or if that’s all they’ve ever known in their life to get them through things + etc tho. However, this was very impt to point out. Slowly beginning incorporating things to work the brain in ones own time.

There was a study that showed sommeliers had lower, or later appearing, instances of dementia. It was because they didn’t just drink wine, they analyzed what they were drinking, looked for specific notes, comparisons to other fruits and wines, took notes, and the process engaged multiple senses as well.

So you can exercise your mind doing every day things you already do if you add a couple extra moments and steps.

what do you personally think all the characters names would be in the real world? All ive heard is ragatha would be agatha and jax as jack but i think those are very basic ahem

I've known their real names from the beginning. Some people have figured out Kinger's real name. I think I've only seen one person guess Pomni's name, I think I saw someone guess Zooble's name for the wrong character, and I've seen one person guess Ragatha's name, but that's all so far.

I know that the point of episode 7 of TDAC is that the big theories are all a lie and they never actually had admin access, but do you guys think it’s possible that the circus might still “break” at the end in regards to the code? Maybe it’ll cause an implosion of the circus somehow. I’m still thinking about how Goose said the ending will be like one microwaved peep

Because of this post I looked up what happens to Peeps when microwaved, apparently they get really big and then collapse on themselves so you might have a point.

I was wondering what the getting really big part had to do with the Circus but maybe the whole AI running for too long thing plays a part. As Caine said "Are you hearing this Bubble? The toybox character wants the AI to run for an extended period of time."

Caine and the game being active for years without downtime might be causing the game or even the computer itself to overload with data or start running out of memory and as a result it may slowly start to get corrupted or fall apart at the seams.

Or the Peep thing could just be one of Goose's silly answers and I'm way overthinking it lol

I do think the age of the circus could have a play in it! We already know that Caine isn’t good at box collisions so the code isn’t perfect, but I feel like there’s some other evidence of maybe the game deteriorating.

In episode 2 when Pomni and Gummigoo fall through the floor I don’t think any other character has experienced that. Perhaps it’s the first time it’s happened due to the hardware of the old computer we see in episode 1 not being able to keep up with Caine’s coding

Caine also is getting more desperate for the circus members to like his adventures, even crafting a custom adventure for Zooble in adventure 3, so perhaps he’s being too hasty and bold with adventures?

I also find it interesting that Kinger is able to mess with the code in a way where he made the butterfly to heal Ragatha in episode 6. Kinger might already have admin powers and just not remember which is why Caine blasted all of them with light in episode 7 and was so surprised that Kinger remembered Scratch’s abstraction at all. I do think it’s very possible he may be the key to messing with the code, plus the hardware not being able to keep up could cause the entire thing to implode or blue screen, the way we’ve seen Caine blue screen when he gets too excited
