DWRW News: 3/30/2026

...hey 😅 It's been awhile, hasn't it?

Sorry about the almost 2 year-long bout of radio silence! A lot has happened since December of 2024 and now. Like, a lot a lot. To put it simply: finally finished college, graduated with an associate's degree in creative writing, dealt with some writer's block, got into a bunch of new fandoms while also reigniting my interest in older ones, and got a job at a bookstore. In other words, got life in the way and I haven't made as much progress on Midnight Thief as I would've liked 🙃

But! Such is life, and I'm not gonna let that discourage me from doing what I love.

On the more progress-related side of things— I'm halfway through rewriting and revising chapter 5 of The Midnight Thief! Can't give you an exact ETA on when the chapter will come out, but I'm aiming for some time this summer. Giving myself some grace, what with me being an ✨adult✨ who's working a ✨real job✨ and all—

I also got another thing in the works that's The Midnight Thief-related, but I'm keeping things hush hush until I can give y'all a proper sneak peek and all. Just keep your eyes peeled for something new ;)

With this that, here's too a happy 8-year anniversary to Dimension Walker, Reality Weaver! Hoping to get more chapters of The Midnight Thief out to y'all this year :D

DWRW News: 12/05/2024

Happy December, everyone! To kick off the holiday season after several months of radio silence, I'm happy to announce that chapter 4 of The Midnight Thief is finally here! This chapter has honestly been one of the most fun but also a bit exhausting to rewrite, as it's the start of the "Thea arrives at Camp Walker" arc, and there are a lot of changes about it that I'm really excited to show y'all. :D So, head on over to the official site to read it now!

In other news, I'm putting together a mailing list so that you guys have another way to get notifications about a new chapter update if you're unable to check out the Tumblr blog or Instagram page. Just drop me your email on this Google form, and I'll add to you it!

DWRW News: 03/30/2024

Happy Saturday, everyone! Today marks the 6-year anniversary since I've started posting about Dimension Walker, Reality Weaver (formerly known as The Dimension Walkers). And, wow— I've come a long way since then, both as a person and as a writer.

While it bums me out that I haven't made as much progress as I would've liked to have made upon reaching this milestone, I'm glad I've encountered all the road-bumps and meandering paths that came my way on this journey of bringing Thea's story to my readers. After all, DWRW is in a completely different place than it was way back when. I'm not only happier with the direction I'm currently going in terms of DWRW's overall plot and character roster, but proud of the world I've created thanks to some silly little fanfic I wrote while in middle school. Thea wouldn't be the protagonist she is today if I didn't take my time and allow myself to go at a pace more beneficial to the story I'm trying to tell. Nor would I have realized how vital it is for the story to give Chrys, Sofia, and Rey the role of co-narrators. These guys are the real heart and soul of DWRW, and I can't wait to see how y'all react to them and their perspectives in The Midnight Thief.

Speaking of the novel— Currently, there are 3 chapters up of The Midnight Thief! I'm not sure when Chapter 4 will be posted, as college is currently kicking my ass since the end of the semester is coming up. Can't make any promises, other than I'll try my best to put out more chapters this year and hopefully post all the rewritten versions of the first 10 chapters of The Midnight Thief!

DWRW News: 06/06/2023

Look alive, folks! The second chapter of The Midnight Thief is now up on Wattpad and Neocities!

Sorry about the late update, but the perfectionist in me refused to post this chapter until I was completely, 100% satisfied with it. Which, bummer, since I really wanted to post this update on May 26th. Why? Because that day was the 9-year anniversary of when "TDW: In the World of RC9GN" went up on FF.net and first introduced the world to the Dimension Walkers. Can you believe that it's been nine years since I came up with DWRW? Back then, I was just a kid who thought it'd be so cool if all my favorite cartoon/book characters were real in some alternate universe/dimension and that there were these special people who had the ability to visit those worlds. Never would've guessed this simple concept would eventually explode into my first ever original novel and story-verse.

DWRW News: 05/07/2023

Happy Sunday, everybody!

Sorry there was no update last month! I got so wrapped up in personal stuff and working on final assignments for my spring semester of college that I didn't really have the time to work on chapter 2 of The Midnight Thief. Luckily, this week is my last week of school before I'm free for the summer, so an update should be out by the end of the month. Keep an eye out 'til then!

For now, let's talk about some things that I did I have time for that are DWRW-related.

First things first, I forgot to mention this in my last post. As you can see, the blog went through a little name change. While rewriting the first chapters of TMT posted to Wattpad, I decided to rename the series into something more befitting of the characters it's centered around. After all, the series is not just about Dimension Walkers. It's also about Reality Weavers (formerly known as the Seers of the Mist), and thus it's only fair that they also share a spot on the series's title with Dimension Walkers. From this point forward, TDW will now be known as the Dimension Walker, Reality Weaver series (DWRW, for short)!

Next up, I am excited to announce that I now have a ko-fi page, where you can tip me if you wanna do more than just drop a comment/vote. Please don't feel pressured to donate, though. This is only for those that have a coin or two to spare. If you can't afford to tip me, just keep on reading and telling me how you feel about the story thus far. Maybe also tell your friends to check out my work. That alone is enough support to keep this story going!

Lastly, Wattpad is no longer the only place you can read the series. I've recently created a website dedicated to hosting/posting not only chapters of TMT but also subsequent installments of the DWRW series! As useful as Wattpad is when it comes to posting stories, garnering reader engagement, and gaining monetary/publishing opportunities, I've always wanted to post DWRW to a site where I can format it to my taste and have no restrictions to what I can and can't put in my own story. I do want to publish DWRW one day; however, I want to first post the story to a site where I'm in full control and can tell Thea's (as well as her friends') story without stifling filters. And so, when I couldn't find any satisfying alternatives to Wattpad, I just up and decided to make my own site! It's rather simple as of now, and I do plan on updating the site when the situation calls for it in the future. But, for the time being, we're stuck with what my amateur coding skills accomplished.

TDW News: 03/30/2023

It's, uh...it's been a minute. 😅

Apologies for leaving y'all on radio silence for basically 2 years. I won't bore you with the details, but college and other writing projects have been kicking my butt and allocating my focus away from TDW for the most part. I still was able to work on rewriting the original 11 chapters (now numbering at 10 chapters) from 1st POV to 3rd POV, but those aforementioned endeavors placed TDW on the back burner while I got my shit together. Which, in the end, got me frustrated over this whole "wait-til-I-drafted-the-entire-novel-before-posting" plan I initially wanted to follow through with. Patience is a virtue that is very touch-and-go with me, especially when it comes to something I love. As of writing this, I have the first 5 chapters of The Midnight Thief fully rewritten and at various levels of revamped. And, I'm honestly dying to show you all the changes I made and give you a proper introduction to the story-verse I've created.

Thus, with this in mind, I present to you a new plan regarding TDW's posting schedule. Once a month, starting today on TDW's Wattpad anniversary, I'm going to post the first 5 chapters of The Midnight Thief. That means, for 5 months, ya'll will have consistent updates. After that, though, I'll work on rewriting/revamping the remaining 5 while also drafting the rest of the novel. I can't give you a concise ETA, but just know that the remaining 5 OG-rewritten chapters will come out quicker than the rest of the novel, but not as quick as the first 5.

TDW News: 06/17/2021

Happy Thursday, everybody! Here's a little update to the progress being made to TMT, along with some other tidbits I thought I should share.

As of this post, 3 of the original 11 chapters initially posted to my Wattpad have been fully rewritten into 3rd-person POV. Along with changing POV, a lot of changes have been made to the novel. I can't give everything away, but I can tell you that it's not just Thea's journey anymore. Chrys, Sofia, and Rey will be joining her as narrators throughout TMT! And, eventually, the rest of the series!

I'm currently working on rewriting chapter 4, but I got hit with a major case of writer's block as of late. Been combatting this by working on other stories I have on the backburner, which has really helped me out. So, I'm not sure how much progress I'll be able to make by the end of summer. But, I can assure you that by the end of this year, I'll be closer to drafting about half of the novel. That's my goal, at least. 😅

In the meantime, make sure you follow TDW's official Instagram for content I may or may not post on here! Also, if you want, drop me an ask on here if there's any info or lore about TDW you wanna know. Perhaps you asking me questions about the novel might help break my writer's block. 😏

TDW News: 03/30/2021

March 30th marks the 3-year anniversary of when my 1st original novel, TDW: The Midnight Thief, was released on Wattpad and marked the start of me turning my dreams of sharing the stories swirling around in my head with the world into a reality. This novel started out as a silly little fanfic I wrote just for fun before being fleshed out and revamped into a full-on representation of what I want to do for the rest of my life. Honestly, TDW has become a child of sorts to me. Something I pride myself in constantly, even when I struggle with the occasional bout of writer’s block, a lack of motivation/inspiration, or a moment of intense doubt and second-guessing.

On July 23rd of 2019, I decided to stop posting chapters of TMT to Wattpad in order to really buckle down and focus on drafting out the whole story in mind head. In the midst of finishing high school and dealing with the repercussions of the pandemic, I devoted a lot of my time to rewrite the chapters of TMT that were already posted and draft out the rest of the novel. It was honestly a struggle, and I’m not ashamed to admit that I hadn’t made the amount of progress I was aiming to complete back in 2020. But, progress is still progress, and I did just that.

It’s now 2021. Along with working to finish drafting TMT, a small goal of mine for this year is to try to be more active on social media so I can promote my work more efficiently.

To do so, alongside having a TDW blog on Tumblr, the series now has an official Instagram account! Head over to thedimensionwalkers and give it a follow. I plan on posting some behind-the-scenes content surrounding TDW and the progress of TMT, as well as some old art made for the earlier stages of the series and some fun trivia about the characters and the world of the Dimension Walkers. Maybe in the future I’ll also host some IG lives where readers can ask me questions while I show you my writing process. 😉

Thank you to all the TDW readers that have stuck around this long. I hope to repay you back for your support this year with some content!

Can you believe that, after having Zepeto for a couple of years, it never occurred to me to make Zepeto versions of the TDW kids till now? 🙃

Anyways, here’s some of the TDW cast made in Zepeto! I’m really happy with how they came out!! Except for Thea and Chrys. :/ Zepeto doesn’t really have a lot of Black hairstyles, so I couldn’t Thea her signature curls. Whereas, the prosthetics available isn’t quite like the one Chrys has. Buuuut, everybody else is super close to how I envision them!! 😁
