Dinky’s Disgruntled Doodles

I’m going to reblog things here. But I’m also going to post my other types of creative stuff on here, such as works in progress, Gifs, sculptures and stuff like that. DNI if you’re “proship” I would say what you really are, but I don’t want gross people out. I only draw SFW. (As in non-sexual stuff, cause I’m pretty sure super hero outfits aren’t considered safe for work.) The reblogs are probably going to be the only things I like on this account. My art account/primary one is @dinkydcfan. This page is mainly going to be digital stuff. And other, non DC, or comic related things. As a warning, I will change my banner and picture on here a lot. But it will almost always be DC related. I made this blog to interact more.

I thought I should make a new post for question rules.

If this is difficult to read tell me and I’ll change the look. I just thought these colors weren’t eye stinging.

CRAP! I forgot to add this earlier! I will NOT draw real people (as in actors-same above-as I do not draw people unless they are publicly known) If you have made inappropriate remarks about them before, such as them being sexually attractive, or anything along those lines.

More notes below. I may add or remove some later. (I need to just wright stuff and be done.)

I forgot to add this up there so I’ll add it here. I will not do requests of adult only media.

I may at some point post some doodles of Robin, I just meant that I will not draw minors at random peoples request.

(Also I may not respond for some random reason and I apologize, it’s usually due to getting distracted by things, being busy or having a severe lack of creativity, and worrying I might mess it up.) … (after that I usually get embarrassed to respond cause it’s been so long since the ask. If it’s cool to respond later tell me!!)

The color of his iris is actually quite a bit greener. I need to practice doing likeness.

I should change the way I sign things. I think I could make it look a bit cooler. The lighting was particularly bad on one of them which is why I made it black and white. I also tried to straighten some of these out in editing, so I hope that looks good.

I’m not sure actually, my interpretation(?) of him is supposed to be behaviorally like his canonical self.

I’m actually not that familiar with his character, I’ve only played the first game, and seen reviews of the others. So if you know what his plausible reaction would be: the answer is that.

And about the chiropractor (Plus other random stuff) below.

I can’t play instruments for my life, and the only chord I can strike is a spinal one! Does that make sense? (If someone has said that before I did not know.)

I’d like to ask some questions back if you don’t mind (obviously you don’t have to answer I’m just curious.)

Do you have an art tag? I’d like to see what you do!

Also when I hear “Scrunkly” which I’ve heard a few times now, it makes me think of a crumpled up ball of something, like paper for example, with a positive tone, is that the idea?

And because you’ve mentioned it before, what is so different about the way I draw Otacon? I’m curious! (Don’t feel pressured to respond. I ask a lot of questions and I know that can freak people out sometimes.) Once again thanks!

These drawings are so dumb.

At what point does a codec call degrade to this. (Not based on any particular image.)

I made the number his first one cause I don’t know what it should be. Also not sure what snake is eating but it’s disturbing me.

The expression and hair are overly dramatic because he was originally going to be doing something drastically different.

The “shading” I did is nonsensical, BUT I liked the hand so here it is. Always try to think of something you like about your drawings, or pretty much anything! (As long as it’s not illegal.)

Below is just a few thoughts on some of my drawing habits. (Only the last one is specific.)

I should stop drawing that sucked up mouth expression (what is that called?) cause I draw a lot of characters with large chins.

I tend to draw arms and shoulders in this squished up/forward pose. As seen in the first one.

ANYONE WHO LIKES MY DC STUFF I POSTED A FEW THINGS ON MY OTHER ACCOUNT! (I apologize, that was a bit loud, and random.)

I draw him wearing a policenauts shirt over and over again because I’m not very creative. also I feel like the cover is still visually readable small.

I really like her, but I can’t draw her for the life of me.

I tend to draw women a bit on the masculine side, so I really tried to make her look feminine here.

It’s pretty interesting to see your actual sketches next to doodles. (The one on top was an actual attempt to draw something nice.)

I meant to post these almost a month ago. These go to an animation I’m working on that I mentioned in an earlier post.

Please don’t say anything perverse.

Also I’m probably going to remove his goggles.

These faces are very stiff. (I mean I was thinking about a ps1 one model, so I may have little bit of an excuse)

I did these just to draw his hair, and test a softer style.

As you can see I described his hair as looking like a -for lack of a better word- “moss ball” (moss ball is a pretty good word actually)

That look is based off of a few pieces of concept art (which I really like.)

The facial expressions are so boring I should have pushed them, but I was trying to focus on his hair.
