MEA House listing - Facebook reacts

GOOD NEWS! Ryders & Yates's MEA House in Newcastle was amongst the 14 office buildings to receive Grade 2 status in a spate of listings dished out to post-war office blocks by English Heritage recently. The announcement also confirmed the listing of the old Ryder & Yates office in Killingworth which is still under threat due to urgent repair works that need carrying out (donate to the repair fund here).

One comment on the Torygraph article linked above reads:
