cancers rarely trust a person again after betrayal. their lives revolve around others, and yet they are not so dependent. circumstances when they must negotiate their own shadows while remaining a backbone and pillar of strength for loved ones is when the cancer’s most magnificent power radiates. maybe the mother has been left alone to raise two children. and this forces the meek servant to transform into a lunar queen, a mother and a father, a provider and a guardian. instances like this showcase the spectacular resolve that dwells in cancer. even if they want to die, they hang on and do more than survive, they radiate moonlight for the people that love and need them
