Hello Gravity Falls,
Iām sorry that I havenāt updated in about a week. Thereās been some things happening around the Mystery Shack that has been keeping me busy. On top of that, I couldnāt get back to the library to use the computers because Mabel needed my help in some boy-getting scheme or something (on top of that, Grunkle Stan- My Great Uncle- wonāt let me use his computer, because he doesnāt trust me or something). Speaking of my sister, I donāt really want her finding out that Iāve started this mystery solving blog; Iām not hiding it- I just⦠Sheāll want to change it⦠make it sparkly or something.
Anyway, someone who asked to remain anonymous has alerted me to a new mystery. They said that thereās been a ārather alarming shadow near outside [their] bedroom window at nightā. They said that its shown up every Tuesday night just before midnight for the past month, and has scratched at their window three times before disappearing again. I checked out my sources, and theyāve pointed to a few things that could be causing this. From Living Trees to a long spider-like thing, labelled simply as āLong Deathā. In either case, Iāll have to check it out tonight. This person is an unreliable source at times but its my duty to make sure that theyāre okay, or to deal with whatever has been bothering them.
Iām going to leave tonight, after everyone else is asleep. If Iām not back by sunrise tell my sister Mabel to ask āthe strange man holding a briefcase on the outside of town āwhere Eagle Fighter 1 isāā. Sheāll know who Iām talking about, and might be able to help me then. Like I said, sheās seemed kinda busy trying to flirt with this Librarian assistant guy or something, so Iām leaving her out on this Mystery for now.
Iām going to spend the rest of my day trying to decode this cup-thing I found in the woods on Monday.
If you guys need help with anything, Iāll look into your tips starting tomorrow⦠after Iāve sorted this out. Maybe I can convince Grunkle Stan to let me use his computer by then. Wish me luck⦠if this shadow thing is what I think it is, I may need all the luck I can get.
