Brody: Hit a nerve, did I?

Rachel: I don't want to have a director resent me because I don't like his girlfriend after she slept with my *fiancé*.
Brody: Get over it!
Brody: Seriously, I mean that in the best way I know how: get over it. Yes, she slept with your fiance. But your fiance slept with her, which I think reveals much more about him, his morals, and his true feelings about you than it reveals about your petty rivalry.
Brody: I don't resent you either, so let's nip that in the bud as well.

Rachel: Then hire her back. If you're going to resent me for it, and make me feel even worse, hire her back.
Brody: You need to stop letting every little emotional turn you have take over your life.

Rachel: I was dealing with it! You're the one who asked me if I wanted her gone! Are you forgetting that?
Brody: Do you remember when we met and I explained to you what "light" meant? You were dealing with her the way any first time diva would, which was terribly.
Brody: But it's done. Moving on.

Rachel: Then maybe you could be my director, and my mentor, and actually support me instead of attempting to invalidate my emotions towards someone who has effectively attempted to ruin my life several times despite ulterior motives and guilt me over decisions you ultimately made.
Brody: If I were being your director, I'd tell you to suck up your pride and hurt feelings and deal with it. But no, I did something much worse than that; I acted as your friend.

Rachel: Right, you 'see' me.
Rachel: Despite that you're clearly still in love with Quinn, and I am not her. Sometimes I think you only chose me so no one would question if it's because of your tie to her.
Brody: Oh yes, because I'm clearly concerned about my reputation over my work.

Rachel: If you're just going to defend her every action against me, why isn't she your Marilyn?
Brody: I believe I've already explained this to you.

Rachel: Are you forgetting the hell she put me through when the roles were reversed? She turned the entire production against me.
Brody: I seem to remember that it was her friends who helped pull you through, who actually made you a more versatile actress. I'd say you benefited from her behavior more than anything.

Rachel: Don't place your residual guilt about the situation on me. We all know I would have survived if she'd stuck around. Yes, I feel more comfortable without her there, but I have no real power here.
Brody: Let's not pretend that you've made it easy on her to be around, despite the apologies she's extended your way.

Rachel: Per *my* demand? You're the director, you didn't have to fire her. You asked me if I wanted her gone, and I said yes. You made that final call yourself. I would have dealt with her presence there.
Brody: You were pretty adamant about it.

Rachel: This could pertain to any number of things. Care to elaborate?
Brody: Quinn is out, per your demand.

Brody: That was, without a doubt, one of the more disgusting things I've done in my life.
