A Zentangle inspired by season 2 of Salem, and #1 in The Diva’s Weekly Challenge: Simplicity
A set of 3 ear warmers that I made as a Christmas gift and then forgot to upload the photos for. Go me!
Fall is upon us...the yarn stash has opened....
I set up both a rigid heddle and a tablet weaving project today. I am a glutton for punishment, and I have the yarn burn on my fingers to prove it.
BRING ON THE CRAFT SEASON!!!!
Front & back cover cardboard inserts from my sister’s journal, featuring lyrics to Catch a Tail By the Tiger and Get Goin’, with tangles themed to match.
My sister’s birthday gift - a hand-bound journal made from 80-lb linen parchment stock & hand dyed lamb’s skin leather.

Remade the body for Pinee in a different yarn. The base isn’t as flat as I would have liked, because I ended up having to for triple crochets instead of the doubles that I had originally planned the pattern with, but I’m okay with the difference. It oddly doesn’t bug me as much as I thought it would when I finished crocheting that part.
Now onto the strap and liner.
I’ll go back and redo the nylon version with a smaller hook later on.
One of my best friends came from Chicago to spend the week with me, and she introduced me to Zentangling. I think I’m hooked.
Ups and Downs fingerless gloves.
I fell in love with this yarn while making the Danish Medallion Scarf, and wanted to use the rest of it.
For Christmas, my sister, roommate and I all decided that we were going to do a handmade gift exchange. So for my end, I wove my sister a bag. I wove the strap too long, and was originally going to be adjustable, but because the strap also serves as the sides of the bag, it just didn’t work out.
Since my sister came to visit this past week, I was able to finally trim down the strap to a length she liked, attach it, and send her home with her (very) late gift!
Danish Medallion scarf for my mom
Finished mitten ornaments
Felt mitten ornaments that I made as Christmas gifts for my family.
So...many...ruffles!
