this is driving me crazy

okay so there’s a song by marina and the diamonds called “i am not a robot” and i remember hearing it play during a commercial when I was young

i’m pretty sure it was a bullying psa thing. there was a little black girl and she was wearing a robot costume made out of cardboard. it showed her in multiple places around a school i think and she was being left out of a bunch of activities with other kids just ignoring her. when the music swells towards the end i think a teacher or other adult helped her get the costume off and the other kids may have let her join in on whatever they were doing? prior to this i think the colors were kinda washed out like it was overcast or something

i was born in 2002 so it was more than likely produced after that year, it probably was somewhere around the late 2000s / early 2010s? i also live in the detroit area in the suburbs if that means anything, it may have been a regional ad

if anyone remembers anything like this please tell me i feel like i have some sort of vivid false memory and i can’t find anything similar to it through google

GOOD NEWS i have an external keyboard now. It’s a clunky solution and eventually I’d like to get my laptop fixed, but I can use g and h and everything again now!
