welcome to dirty ghost confessions!

this isn’t going to be genuinely “dirty” but a place to actually confess things and maybe joke around a bit. submissions will always be open, so hop into the ask box!

i post confessions until around 9:30 PM EST.

if yours has not been posted in a number of days before submitting, please be patient.

i also accept confessions in the form of post submissions.

rules:

- as said before, nothing too genuinely dirty. implying things is fine.

- no drama.

- if you confess anything about TF (Tobias Forge) don’t be weird. you can be wholesome or poke a little fun tho.

- please nothing about the unmasked ghouls. some people don’t like it and its just easier to not allow that here.

- I have every right to not post your confession

- confessions will always be anonymous

You can also just send in asks to chat or make some commentary. Make sure to let me know it isn’t a submission.

For people that aren't tuned in to ghostwt, there's a rumour going around that ghost fans are now banned from the mausoleum where the chapters are filmed. This stemmed from a tweet of someone being asked to leave by the staff at the mausoleum and called disrespectful due to showing up in full cosplay and attempting to do a photoshoot without consent.

I've attended a ghost event at the mausoleum myself, and the staff were amazing and kind, unlike what this person is trying to portray. You can't show up to an active gravesite where burials still take place without permission and treat it like your own personal playground - I thought this would be common sense. Email them, call them, send a message via social media, do whatever, but you need permission from them to visit and especially to do any form of photoshoot.

What this person did was extremely disrespectful, and I hope other ghost fans take note because otherwise, people will get banned from the site permanently.

I've seen some people on twitter now talking about doing a fundraiser to try to help the mausoleum and as an apology. Do not do this. I'm going to lay out a few points on why this isn't a good idea as nicely as possible because I know y'all are good intentioned.

The mausoleum has not made any official statement, we only have the information that people on twitter are saying.

This will not end up being a single fundraiser because someone else will want to feel like they're doing good and that ends up with the mausoleum getting multiple people emailing them, which they then will have to go through instead of emails for things that actually need their attention for their business. If they truly are sick of ghost fans, that is only fuelling the fire.

I saw some people say about making zines and similar things. I have had friends that have worked on zines in this fandom and have worked on a charity project in this fandom myself. They do not go well. Someone will get upset, there will be drama and then it will end up in either a call out post for petty shit or another zine being made, which goes back around to point 2.

Please leave the mausoleum alone. They are an active business not a museum or a backdrop for a photoshoot. If you want to visit, shoot them an email otherwise just stop.

I am still around! Just unmotivated unfortunately.

It gets a little hard to come up with ideas for some of the confessions I have received. Hopefully I will be able to come up with something, if I cannot, I will sadly just post the confession by itself. This is partially why I have been interested in having another person join the operation of this blog.

In other news, the new tumblr updates allow me to reply on posts from sideblogs, which means I will be able to reply to any replies left on my posts! Hooray!
