I never asked to be your daughter.
I never asked for you to be my father.
I never asked to be born from the flames that consumed you.
I never asked for your anger to boil the blood in my veins.
I never asked for the blood of your wounds to trickle into mine until I didnt know what was yours and what was mine.
I hate you but I feel like you.
Your anger lives in my bones, your words live rent free in my mind, and my voice screams like yours once did.
Fighting my whole life against a shadow that will always be a part of me because I know how you are and I am praying to Gods I dont believe in for hope that the apple falls very far from the tree.
I cant stand the thought the evil that lives inside you could one day consume me too.
