My wife uses a wooden paddle with holes like that one and it really does hurt more than a regular paddle or her hairbrush. I quickly obey her when I see her holding that paddle. This way it doesn't take long to spank me and I do cry.

So I obey her better since she bought that paddle and I am still glad she married me. We share the same beliefs and values and I feel I should be held accountable for what I say and do. Unlike my wife, I just react to things without thinking. So I do need her rules, discipline, and structure in my life.
