He told me that I have a soul Is he from Heaven or from Hell? How does he know? And does he know What spirit comes to move my life? That granting me my life today Is there another way to go? This man has killed me even so?
things I’m not ready to see on the big screen

Voice Types according to TV Tropes:
Sopranos are almost always The Ingenue / Satellite Love Interest / Purity Personified. When they’re not, they’re still more often than not the romantic lead and commonly also a Defrosting Ice Queen. It should be noted that this does not apply to opera, where most female roles of any type are written for sopranos. Sopranos are also much rarer in rock musicals, because most rock music is not written for soprano vocalists.
{ part one - part two - part three }
[contralto] [mezzo-soprano] [tenor] [baritone] [bass]

undoubtedly my favourite thing about hadley’s javert
yo! i have finally finished getting my shit together lmao, so you can now watch
every moment of andrew rannells on hbo’s girls, without having to watch hbo’s girls
whether you don’t want to watch the show at all, or just want to rewatch his parts specifically, i have you covered with some handy compilation videos!!
i was gonna put them on youtube, then they were blocked, then i tried again and idek if they’re working anymore, but i gave up on youtube and headed over to google drive, so you can now find the first five seasons of andrew rannells compilations RIGHT HERE
YAY
some warnings for the videos:
blanket warning for course language and sexual references
sex scenes (season 2, around 7-9mins; season 5, around 12:10-12:50)
other nudity (season 4, briefly around 8:25; season 5, around 7:00-7:35)
let me know if anything goes wrong with the videos (but with the ~20-30 hours i’ve put into actually getting them online, they’d better work i swear…..)
ok so i saw Dear Evan Hansen two days ago and i have some things to say. first of all, ben platt was absolutely incredible. he sounded even better than the recording. no surprise there. second, i was a bit upset when rachel bay jones won the tony bc i was rooting for sjb. but holy shit. her performance might have actually been my favorite bc she was funny yet heartbreaking and oh my goD. third, everyone there was super nice. we met this girl in line who was sitting fourth row and who had seen a couple other shows as her graduation gift and she let my friend and i stand under her umbrella while in line bc it was raining. also there was a man in front of us who was super funny and sweet and he asked me if i was ok during intermission bc i was sobbing. i love theater people. fourth, i sat towards the front of the balcony but i don't think there was really a bad seat in the theater. it was small and while i would have loved sitting in the front row, my seats were perfect. lastly, i didn't expect to cry as much as i did during you will be found. of course words fail is heartbreaking but i think i cried the most during the act 1 closer. idk if it's bc it resonates with me so much or what but when michael park/ larry murphy started crying after seeing how big evan's speech was i just fucking lost it oh my goD. anyway, the show was absolutely amazing and absolutely deserving of every single tony it got.
My issue in life is that I accept no other cast of Phantom of the Opera than the 25th anniversary Royal Albert Hall cast because honestly they were perfection.
