“Retired Superheroes” wax sculpture installation by artist Gilles Barbier  

I joined tumblr back in February 2012, this was the first post that got a featured “ART” tag and got any notes back in April 2012. I did not know at the time about featured tags etc but I was really excited about having a post with so many notes! I had less than 100 followers and having a post with 3K notes out of nowhere was unbelievable to me.

In the city of the death, humans go back to their roots and no longer destroys, there is peace, everybody is in silence, all is forgotten and becomes a figure of history. Now is time to rest.
