I was tagged by @igotsnothing and @solorisa - thank you!

I think I may have ended up going more "regal and divine" than "luxury and elegance" but oh well. Morgyn fit the bill better than my other characters one way or another. I don't know if anyone else ever gets words or phrases stuck in your head, but for me, the phrase "Destroying Angel" was stuck in my head the whole time I was working on this.

Things Tobias has never liked: 1.) being the center of attention, 2.) hanging around talking in a group of 3 or more people, 3.) people having emotions at him (especially if he's expected to do something about it).

He likes all of these people, but all at once - and especially since everyone has to gasp and cry and be hugged - is something he would find draining on a good day. Today is a weird day, and there's somewhere he'd really rather be right now.

The girl with orange eyes is Autumn. She and Tobias have had an ongoing but unofficial romantic thing for a bit. She was one of the unnamed "mutual friends" that Solomon spoke to in Ch. 2.

Meanwhile, the 6th panel is me this week, as I continue to have a cold that is kicking my ass in a very unfair way. I believe it is cheating.

Other notes: Solomon and Tobias live in the same apartment building. Also, the cut on Solomon's wrist wouldn't be very large, but still gross.

Listen. I've been in a mood.

I've been listening to the song Spiracle by Flower Face a lot recently - it's one of the newer additions to my Blood and Ashes playlist. It's delightfully creepy and I recommend it. (I also consider it a Solomon-Tobias song, just in case you want to read into things, and maybe worry about them.)

Chapter 4 begins!

I've changed the upload format some (starting with the interlude, actually). This is how I crop and format the panels to upload on Instagram (I'm @disastermage there, too). It's much more mobile friendly, so I figure I'd try using them here, also.

I've tentatively started playing with Blender's particle system, even though I ended up painting in half of the glass shards afterward.

There are days when I feel like I’m falling. I fear that I’ve lost something I loved, needed. A foundation breaks away. Maybe I was wrong about all of it. Whatever I thought I could sustain, could attain. My understanding of who and what I am. Were these just lies I told myself? Are all these hopes just delusions? I’m falling. When I find the ground, will it be kind? Will I land safe in your arms, or break on cold reality?

It passes. Deep down I know that I only have to wait it out. Every time it seems like I’ll never feel any other way. But it passes. It always has. I hope to find the confidence to say that it always will.
