hello world! you can call me Mixz, I'm a machine/robotkin who has a interest in old internet graphics and stories. I identify with the asexual label and usually use its/it. Forgive me for certain malfunctions like grammar mistakes or slow processing, sometimes wires get crossed or lose!

I'm not a specific model of machine but rather a customizable base so my appearance may change from time to time! you can find the blueprints here! Hey uh inquiring mind here how do you know when your eldritch kin because like

I’m starting to think I may be and idk if it’s just delusions of grandeur or a general lack of social norms but I wanna know if what I’m feeling is real

I will say first, I'm not an expert! I'm just some silly guy on the internet sharing my experiences/opinions, and your otherkin identity is a personal thing, so I wish you well on figuring everything out! I know I still am lol

but if it helps, I totally understand that! The best way to describe it for me is like my skin is too tight. I know I'm supposed to be something greater and more powerful, but I'm trapped in this small body. I get frustrated at my lack of knowledge and missing parts; it can really suck sometimes.

I also found myself drawn to things that have eldritch qualities, like horror or space or the sea. Stories like the King in Yellow, SCP stories, or even angels (biblically accurate ones specifically lol). I find a strange comfort and familiarity; the fish thousands of feet deep don't scare me, and I think black holes are beautiful.

I totally understand the fear of it not being real too! I'm very picky with my kins because of some mental illness and usually don't add them to my list until I get a very obvious sign that I do kin something (usually phantom limbs or pain). my best advice is to take it slow, feel it out, and see if you do feel a connection to being something eldritch or if it's something else. there's a lot of similar kins to eldritchkin like monsters, cryptids, etc! I've heard meditation can help some too!

be careful and be safe! It might take a while to get, especially with something as abstract as "eldritch," but I believe as long as you know yourself and are gentle with your struggles, you'll get it in no time :3
