i’m really not trying to get into any phandom discourse here but it does make me a little sad to see people so heavily criticise some of the hard launches, like the excitable sounding one just made me giggle. was it a bit jarring? sure, but like it’s just two girls being a bit silly and giddy, not sure it warrants as much criticism as i have seen it get.

i just can’t imagine being so excited that your hard launch was picked only to get torn apart by people calling it ‘boring’, a ‘nothing burger’, or saying your energy was ‘too much’.

not to mention dnp are more than capable of setting their own boundaries, if something bothered them that much they would probably cut it out or specifically say that they were uncomfortable with it. they have not been afraid to tell us off before so i highly doubt, especially in this new era, that they would be scared to tell us if they didn’t like something. like when phil made his thoughts perfectly clear on the whole giving head to a homophobe thing.
