You shouldn’t have to make an excuse for your mental illness. You shouldn’t have to be ‘sick’. You shouldn’t have to be ‘tired’. Your mental health is just as valid. People need to accept that

I don’t think people realise that anxiety, depression and other mental health issues can have on you physically as well as emotionally. So just some examples:

Aches and pains

Sweating

Stomach upset

Vomiting

Dizziness

Shallow breathing or struggling to breathe

Shaking

Cramped and tight tension in muscles

Insomnia

Stiff and swollen joins

Low immune system causing sickness

Fatigue

Low energy
