Okay, so I guess we’re doing this now.

Obviously this used to be the Team Disco blog. Not anymore. That’s done with. We’re just three guys who have taken over this blog after Team Disco’s downfall.

I’m Lionel. They/them. You.. may or may not recognize me as Aquasonic from Team Disco. They were me but also.. not? It’s complicated. Fun fact about me is that I’ve always been into composing music, I was inspired by an older sister of mine.

I’m Tao Blu. Also They/them. I was actually the one who convinced Lionel to spread around the password. There has to be a better use for this blog then letting it just.. rot, right? Call us the Disco Therapy Group! .. That might be stupid, nevermind! Fun fact about me is that I studied abroad at a young age, before coming back.

I’M BEATDROP!!! I completely do not remember my name before Team Disco at all so this will do!!! Also They/Them!! We’re the gnc brigade motherfuckers!!! My fun fact is that I’m still not home yet!! Trying to get there!

Did I ever mention who I’m staying with? Cory. Old friend. Actually found out that today was Father’s Day through them—since I.. don’t exactly remember who my parents are, and they haven’t bothered to try to reach out, Cory’s all I got. They offered to take me with them to their own Father’s Day festivities.. that’s fun. I’m excited.

I’ve gotten in contact with my mother, but with no father to my name I’m going to be helping Beatdrop research maps and routes and all of that. It’s admirable how dedicated they are in finding a way to their family even with their endless traveling, so I hope this’ll make them feel less alone. Us three have eachother, you know?

Well, not me. Damn, sorry, I should be there with you two.

I think the craziest thing about getting out.. again.. is just seeing what became of the others from.. the first time.

I have no clue where some of them are. But Eight’s an agent. B- someone else is a famous singer and battle commentator now, and she’s steady in that career.

No clue what became of.. well, we called them Shell and Pinwheel. But I didn’t see them when Team Disco… came back, so it’s probably better then what I did.

This is.. a lot to say, probably, but if we’re really going to use this account to talk about what we’ve been through thanks to The DJ, I had to rip the bandaid off eventually.

Musharna Mail! A dream.. but..

You’ve known traveling your whole life. It’s how you were raised. Your family, your family’s family, the people around you—you constantly go on the move. It’s a way of life. You experience the world. Sure, you’re a little.. odd. Death is not the end, but an experience, and it brings you further to the world. In return, despite you being raised on survival skills, you’re risky. Nobody traveling with you minds, they’re similar if not the same. You’re passing by a small city. The sign to it is blurred, but it starts with a ‘spa’ It’s remote and dense. And you can tell why—they’re that kind of place. Covered in as many pearls and gold as they could get their hands on, tall polished buildings, the works. Of course, a humble nomadic group passing by would be looked down upon by a society like this. The group you’re with can’t wait to get out of here. You, however, are incredibly curious. You were always a little odd. One night, you’re poking your head around, checking out every nook and cranny, until you see it. A Glameow, starved to the bone, clearly having lived on the streets for an unknown amount of time. You’re about to approach when it looks away and scampers in that direction. When you look where it left, you see it approaching a person, crouched down, offering a meal to it. Black hair rests across their shoulders. Since the Glameow is fine, you go to walk away, but icy blue eyes look up into yours, smile that was offered to the abandoned Pokémon lost.

Beatdrop wakes up slowly, blinking the sleep out of their eyes.

Originally, they had thought it was going to be a nightmare. The vague reminder of the people they miss, the people they want to get back too, but that idea quickly shifted.

It was not a nightmare, nor was it entirely a dream.

It was a memory. Blurry, sure, but a memory.

And Beatdrop knows how it “ends”, even if it’s been almost four years since it happened. Even through Team Disco, even through not remembering their own name… a dream was enough to unearth a memory.

They spoke for a little. Beatdrop never caught her name, but could tell there was.. hurt.

They had a bat they’ve found and never had to use. She had a use. It was simple logistics even they could understand.

..And Beatdrop never saw her again. Or maybe they did, and they just can’t remember. Wouldn’t be impossible for them.
