St Dunstan in the East Church Garden
I’m so pale, I could be mistaken for a vampire.
A nut a day keeps the doctor away.
Unless you’re allergic, then it doesn’t.

if you’re reading this, i’m wishing for the universe to be kind to you
Humans of today display animalistic tendencies in the sense of unconscious/subconscious actions rooted to the survival instincts/reproduction. The difference between them and animals is the existence of the ego. When the sense of gross "I"-ness combines with the basic instincts of survival, we get the world we see today. Animals don't destroy the planet because they don't have such a strong sense of "I", and are true to themselves as a result.
That’s the point I was trying to make is that humans are selfish. Animals are innocent, and as a result of human selfishness animals are now being impacted. Currently 30% of amphibian species are on the brink of extinction and numbers are dwindling rapidly. It’s a sad world we live in today.
I don’t claim to be perfect myself, hell nobody is perfect and everything I have said is not meant to cause offence to anyone it’s just my views and opinion on topics I find an interest in.
Your response is interesting in the sense that it sort of intrinsically paints humans in a negative light, almost reflective of a biblical tone. Then, I'll ask this: Do you think the world is the way it is because the natural tendency of humans is slanted towards our animalistic side? How do you perceive the role of human will, if you think it exists?
Not intended that way and interesting you think biblical because I am far from religious. I don’t believe god created earth/ us etc I am very much the big bang theory and evolution/ adaptations and dinosaurs bro. Although I do like to believe there is an afterlife as such.
Explain how you came up to that question, because to me we are far out of touch with our animalistic side and that is what has contributed to the destruction of the earth. The constant need for power and wealth often driven by religious factors as well as money, don’t see animals doing that. Don’t get me wrong we all play a part in the ecosystem but how quickly we are causing the extinction of some flora and fauna will have an extremely negative affect on the future of earth
I think everyone has the capability of human will it’s the choices they make in how they use it that affect the immediate space and people around them
What brings you inspiration
My future and career, which is ironic because I keep saying I hate it, but I’m hopeful an opportunity for change will open up soon. The cards are on the table as such..
Do you think that humans in particular have a purpose beyond their survival instincts/reproduction? Do you wonder about your own purpose and try to search for answers?
Good question and quite honestly I’m not sure because at the end of the day we are just animals. Just very intelligent complicated ones. I suppose there must be some sort of purpose depending on what level you look at it. Realistically our only goals should be survival and reproduction, but because of our complex intelligence, emotions etc we have adapted way quicker than the earth can manage and now as mention previously we are just killing it - so is that our purpose, we become the apex predator as such and kill the only thing that is allowing us to survive?
That was a big deep level, day-to-day purpose idk as I said everyone is different and has their own story
If you believe everyone has a purpose, what should humans do to realize it?
Depends what way you look at the purpose. Based on adaptations and evolution alone, we’re mammals therefore our ultimate purpose is to reproduce with strongest mate to ensure our genes go on to survive and succeed, through our offspring.
From the other point, Meh I ain’t god I don’t have the answers. I would recommend doing what you enjoy in life, make the right choices and be kind. Everyone’s got their own story. Look after one another, help in anyway you can, the smallest gesture can go so far and you never know what the universe will give you in return.
Idk I just rambled there.
