For all those Call me Katie fans still out there, this video is for you.

As most of you know, when Steven and I met at callbacks for the web series, I knew that even if I wasn’t cast, I wanted to be friends with this guy as we had an instant connection!

After both series ended, we remained best friends and have cherished this friendship for the past 4 years.

As I wrote in Steven’s card, although George squared would probably get hitched one day, in real life, I wanted this awesome man standing why my side at the alter as my best man, as I marry my high school sweetheart next year.

Thankyou all for your support and although the web series may be over, stay tuned for more videos with Steven and myself next year.

First Diversity Showcase participants named

The performers, writers and directors who will participate in Australia’s first Diversity Showcase have been selected by industry judging panels from more than 500 applicants. Advertisement .

Congratulations to our very own Adam Bowes (@lifemovesprettyfast22), who has been selected to perform in Australia's first Diversity Showcase! He and the ten other writers, directors and performers beat over five hundred applicants and will perform at the Actors' Centre Australia on July 26.

Any musical theatre fans out there? Our very own Chelsea Taylor is starring in Blackout Theatre Company's production of The Last Five Years, directed by none other than her screen sister Briony Burnes.

If that's not enough to get your attention, the show also stars Erin Bogart, who peaked playing Girl Sleeping While Candles Are Balanced On Her in "New Year's Eve (Part 1)", but reportedly continues to impress anyway.

The Last Five Years is a contemporary song-cycle musical that chronicles the five-year relationship of two New Yorkers as they fall in and out of love. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll go "Hey, why didn't Discordia make Chelsea sing in CMK? That was a huge oversight on their part. Yikes." We'll be right there with you, having the same regrets.

Happy new year from Discordia Productions!

Here’s a quick update about the year gone by and our plans for 2018.

2017 was a busy year for us, full of uni, internships, theatre, overseas corporate videography and more, and 2018 promises to be even busier.

We always aim to make our No Small Stories Film Festival the best it can be, and will be postponing the next one to early 2019 so we can bring you the best short films, venue, prizes and ticket prices. Submissions will open later this year, so stay tuned for more information!

We have a few creative projects in the early stages of development, and will keep you updated on their progress.

We’re looking forward to an incredible 2018!

Five members of our cast and crew are involved in a futuristic double bill!

Bokkie, one of our writers and directors, has written and is directing 'Headbanging to Beethoven', about three sort-of friends who barricade themselves into a room to escape an alien invasion, but soon realise they should have kept running.

Raman, our 2nd Assistant Director, and Louis, who played Mark, have written 'Andy', which follows an android with all the knowledge on Earth, and the two estranged brothers tasked with teaching her how to be human.

Carla, our producer and 1st Assistant Director, will play Jen in 'Headbanging to Beethoven'.

Blake, who played Ben, will play Max in 'Andy'.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for No Small Stories 2017 last night! The festival couldn't have gone better.

Congratulations to Michela Carattini, winner of Best Film for Unspoiled by Feminism, and Tom Tennant and Sophie Shad, winners of Best Film Runner-Up for The Bechdel Test. We'll feature short interviews with them on our website in the coming days.

We want to thank all the shortlisted filmmakers for their hard work - the quality of their films made the festival what it was and we couldn't have done it without them. The future of the industry is in very safe hands!
