Hey hey remember I mentioned a while ago there was a SasuSaku art panel that I really loved and was itching to do the same for GaaSaku? Well, here ya go. 😳 Not terribly original, I know—all credits for the idea go to the original artist: @a___grrrl (whose Twitter account is no longer active?), I believe, according to my digging through the comments—but you betcha that if I see something that I like, I will GaaSaku-ize (is this a word?) it. 😏

Been having a hard time getting inspired lately. Using this as an exercise to get myself started on making content again. Hopefully this will get the creative juices flowing.

Ever thought about doing fanfic and/or fanart requests, anonymous or otherwise?

Thanks for the ask! I have actually, on many occasions, but couldn’t get myself to do it. Two biggest obstacles stand in my way are time and motivation. I’d feel bad having a requester wait weeks/months on end for something I promised... The pressure is too much. Hopefully someday this will change. (If only I can make a living out of doing fanarts/fics, ahaha.)

Continuing my streak of seeing rando pics and drawing my favorite characters like them. This time I came across Kalim’s picture when I was visiting Japan at the beginning of the year (I was lucky to make a trip there before the pandemic!). He’s a character from a new game called Twisted Wonderland. The promotional ads for the game were all over Tokyo Station. I immediately fell in love with the character designs. ❤️

Apparently, Kalim is from the Land of Hot Sands ☀️.

Hmm, I’m really feeling artistic these days during quarantine. I seriously regretted my endeavors when I got started on his ornaments. 💀

2020 GaaSaku Free-For-All FanFest

It’s PROMPT time.

Time to put those thinking caps on and toss out some prompts for - what is now officially - the 2020 GaaSaku Free-For-All FanFest. Here’s a [link] to the prompt form. PLEASE only one prompt per form. But feel free to fill the form out as many times as you like. JUST ONE PROMPT PER FORM.💕

THIS IS NOT A SIGN UP FORM. Everyone is invited to supply prompts!!!!

What this will entail:

Basically, you guys provide prompts - as many as you like! (The more the merrier, really.) The sky’s the limit on the amount you provide, what they’re about, your dislikes, and preferences, etc. But just ONE PROMPT PER FORM.

Next step:

I post them publicly in a spreadsheet (or something) where authors and artists can peruse and choose a prompt - “claiming” a prompt. One prompt per person BUT when you finish your piece, you can claim another (or more - one at a time) if you want. 

NOTE: AN ARTIST AND AN AUTHOR CAN BOTH CLAIM THE SAME PROMPT (or not, whatever), BUT NOT 2 ARTISTS OR 2 AUTHORS - on the same prompt. (Hopefully that’s not too confusing.)

Lastly:

Just to be clear:

This is just the prompt form - fill in the prompt fields. You can put your tumblr username in as the prompter or be anonymous - your choice. So feel free to just go crazy with the prompts. As long as they’re GaaSaku-centric prompts, that’s all you need.😉

Also:

When there are enough prompts, we’ll move onto the prompt claiming post. I’m thinking of using the Zoho Spreadsheets but we’ll see - I’ll figure it out. And in the spirit of a free-for-all (or at least this one) let’s make those prompts as user friendly as possible. Yeah I’m gonna prompt, too.😋

FanFest 2020

Well it’s about that time for me to kick my butt into gear. January is ending (timezone) and the month of love is here.💕💓💗💖

I have a few ideas on what to do for the next fest but there’s this one I REALLY want to do so… So far we’ve done a gift exchange (with free form submissions too) and a fic/art challenge but there’s always room for different kinds of fanfests. The one I wanna do I’m calling Free-For-All Prompts (because I have no idea what it’s really called; it’s a big deal in other fandoms outside Naruto, so I’ve been told).

Hey guys! And to all the recent new followers on this blog.😘💕

Sorry for my lackluster attention to this lately. Both of my blogs have been so incommunicado and quiet as the dead lately. I want to change that but didn’t want to start the next fanfest until I was sure I had time for it. 

It’s now 2020 (AEST), and I’ll be doing just that very soon. So between mika080 and gaasaku-fanfests things will def be picking up. I want to do another fest soon if people are still interested.
