katniss everdeen, age 16, probably
I’ve read the huger games recentlyyyy
no one talks about how everlark’s schedules are aligned. A baker and a hunter are both early risers.
Peeta is uh.. already *cough* risen by the time he wakes up…

no man will ever love me like you do | everlark fanfiction | one-shot
I sigh a breath of relief upon feeling Peeta dip a finger inside of me. For someone who’s never done this with anyone else, he sure knows how to make me feel things I’ve never known I could feel before. There is a hunger I’ve only ever felt from kissing Peeta Mellark. He also happens to be the cure, and the cause for needing more. “Good?” he whispers. I make some sort of whining noise in response. Yes, good.
Katniss and Peeta are still learning the ropes to their newfound bedroom activities and with it comes new terminologies.
For @mandrake-mistakes after I won a guessing game for the word count of Uncross Our Stars.
Effie: Peeta Mellark!
Katniss: Peeta Mellark!?!? Oh no, not him!
Me in my head every time: Yes, Katniss, him. That’s your future husband you’re about to misread to a truly unreplicable degree in literature.
Meet Me in the Pouring Rain: When a storm forces Katniss and Peeta to stop their roadtrip for the night, they have no choice but to hunker down in the first hotel they find. Too bad the only room available is the Honeymoon Suite - and the very open shower it comes with.
Katniss does as she promised: keeps her attention and her gaze focused entirely on the wall. She ignores when he shifts his song from the pop one that played on the radio to the folksier tunes The Covey plays at Peeta’s favorite dive bar every Friday. She makes a point to not notice the metallic clink of his belt buckle hitting the ground, and the twist of desire low in her gut at the sound. The shower door clicks closed, muffling his song.
teenage girls in fiction: hes so cute i wanna slow dance with him at prom :3 hehe
real teenage girls: imagine if he got injured and i had to tend to his wounds and i could watch him seize up a bit as i disinfect them and in the haze of fever he sees me as an angel
Word already had a word count?! That WORKED?
You made a computer that can't COUNT?!
Everdeen sisters + Katniss hunting with their dad (the flowers are for her mother obviously)
actually the show is called "House" because they break into every patient's house
Stop Getting It Twisted.
Two important truths: Peeta would never pick a fight with Gale, but could beat him handily. Do not let the movies distort their canonical book characteristics. Both characters are quite different between the two mediums. Gale is meant to be lean, hard-muscled, yet still about the same height as shown (I’ve always pictured a cross-country runner’s physique), and Peeta is more broad-shouldered, bulky-muscled, and several inches taller than Josh no matter how you interpret his height descriptions (a classic wrestler’s physique his brothers also possessed). Katniss mentions Gale’s strength only a few times, whereas Peeta’s is brought up or indicated a few dozen times or more - including when both guys are present together - with the latter demonstrating said strength in a way ninety-nine percent of people could not replicate. Peeta could have been a killing machine the entire series but chose humanity over hostility, one of the pillars of why Katniss fell in love with him.
Two of the hottest things about Peeta Mellark
1. He COULD absolutely deck Gale without any issue
2. He never WOULD
