being hypnotized can make you feel as if you're in a dream. after all, when you're dreaming, you typically don't question anything that's happening, and you can feel quite intense, vivid emotions in response to things which normally wouldn't have much of an effect on you at all in your waking state. you simply feel the way a part of your mind tells you to feel, and you play the role you've been put in. even your memories are often replaced with ones that are suitable for the dream. you forget that you've already graduated high school, you remember meeting a character in the dream who doesn't actually exist in reality. maybe you have this vague sense of doubt or confusion about some of it, but the illusion persists. it doesn't really matter if something doesn't quite add up - you're still here, and it still feels real to you. and you just aren't capable of thinking as clearly as you can when you're awake.

I SAW THIS IN THE PORTLAND ART MUSEUM! ITS HUGE!

it shimmers like no gemstones i've ever seen: green as malachite and emerald but shot through with opal, gold, copper. photographs can't do it justice because of how it shines, as well as the way the actual material elements have their own dimensions. you can lean in and study all the fine lines of the circuits or step back and admire how the rearranged whole forms new patterns. it's one of the most beautiful creations i've ever seen.

I love angels in a kink sense because they serve as either and both a semi-mindless automaton made to resemble a human being internally and externally but lacking the ability to do anything but serve AND as the connection between the mortal and the divine meaning that anything it says is true and anything it does to you is righteous and you have to be grateful for its attention no matter how much it hurts you and what's awesome is that it can do both of those at the same time

as a princess it is nice that all i have to do to get out of whatever boring meeting is just insist that i’m too warm, stand conspicuously near a window, and wait to catch the eye of any passing dragon. it works every time and sometimes the knights can even recover my dress too 👍
