Chris Jurney of Super Giant Games is building a custom STEEL Divekick Controller. This is only day one of the project, and it's looking like it'll end up AWESOME and ABSURD.

New project time. The most epic fighting game ever made is going to launch this summer, and I want in on the ground floor with a custom controller. The game is hugely epic and absurd, so I wanted to make a controller that would match. Thus was born the steel Divekick controller project.

Over the weekend it was announced that Divekick will be available in North America (US, Canada and Mexico), Europe, Brazil, Australia on August 20th, 2013. It will also be Cross Buy for the Sony PlayStation 3 and PS Vita for the low low price ONLY $9.99. Also don't forget it will also be CrossPlay as well, meaning you can play against other players who are on the PS3 with the Vita version. Release for Japan and pricing for other territories is still in the works. The Steam release is still pending Greenlight voting, please vote for it over at GreenlightDivekick.com. A PC compatibility build is still coming soon, so look for that. Watch the announcement silliness starting at 1m 20s into this video.
